A beautiful she-cat lead her clan across MoonClan territory, leading them to the gathering. What awaited MoonClan here at this New Moon? She did not know, but some sent chills down her spine that something big was coming up. She also thought of her dream with Bluestar. What did she mean she'd be punished? It was just love. He was dead anyway, like Bluestar said. She could never get pregnat. As she saw the shape of the Star rock, she turned around to make sure her clan was still following. And they were. Dawnstar lept onto the Star Rock, and licked her paw as she got to the top. MoonClan's first, as usaul. She thought, looking around at her warrior. She had felt a storng bound forming between her and Redstorm, though she knew it was only friendship, and nothing more. She got an odd feeling around Scourge that wasn't nearly as storng as when she spoke to her deputy. But it's not like Redstorm would expect them to be anymore than friends, and she didn't want to be more. There was still just something that bothered her about the dream with Bluestar. It made her think of everything that ment so much to her. Her mate, Scourge, and Nightwing. Nightwing . . . That was it! Something was troubling her about her daughter. But what was it? Dawnstar sighed and tried to lear her mind. But it was easier said than done.

Bluemoon followed her leader. She sat where the Medicine cats usualy sat.

Lostpaw followed after her clan, trailing behind as usual. She entered the clearing and sat along the edge of the clearing, watching the other MoonClan apprentices.

A silver shape slid into the clearing and gracefully ascended onto Star Rock. Her blue eyes were distant, and she scanned the MoonClan cats, looking for a certain figured. She knew they couldn't talk, but she just wanted to be sure he was there.

Dragonstar trotted smoothly into the clearing, despite the fact that her legs were getting quite old on her. She was looking forward to retiring, but she knew she could not do so until she was sure that Brackenclaw would be a good deputy. It had been a moon since he was made deputy, and she was sure about her choice, but this would be his first gathering as a deputy, and she wanted to see how he responded to the little taste of power he would have as leader. The rest of her Clan followed close behind, so she strode ahead, leaping up onto the rock. She knew she wasn't going to enjoy explaining Rockleafe's death to the other Clan leaderss...

Smokepaw followed Dawnstar and sat down a little ways from Star rock. This was her first gathering. She was so excited!
Finally, I get to meet some other apprentices! She thought happily.

Dawnstar watched as Oceanstar was scanning for someone. Most likely her lost warrior, Muddypelt. She saw Dragonstar, the leader was getting quite old. But then again, Dawnstar was

Smokepaw trotted over to Lostpaw and sat down beside her. "Hi, Lostpaw," she said to the older apprentice. This was her first gathering! She had just became an apprentice, so she didn't know any of her denmates. "Might as well to get to know a denmate...," She thought to herself.

He walked into the gathering, proud that his first clan was always the first. It wasn't surprising, the way Dawnstar was so enthustiastic about everything. He had become great friends with Dawnstar, especially since he became deptuy. They were partners in crime. Two peas in a pond kind of friendship. Maybe not extremely best friends, but much more than your average cat.

He watched as the cats started to emerge out slowly. Some of them walking right up to cats to talk, while others timidly waited for someone to come to them. He sat next to the leaders, where the deputy usually took their place. His red eyes watched every cat's moment, especially his of his own clan. He didn't want any secrets to be accidently let out from some cat who didn't know when to shut up.

A black figure slid into the gathering from Frostclan. Normally, he didn't go to gatherings. He didn't enjoy them, because he didn't enjoy cats from other clans, but Oceanstar wanted him to come. Plus, it was good pratice, just in case his hopes of becoming deputy became true. Still, there was a lot of other cats that would make a great deputy, and it made his self esteme decrepit. He tried his best to stay strong and positive to himself. He fur prickled when he found a set of red eyes, much like his, lay on him. He never knew that there was another cat with red eyes beside his mother. This cat's pelt though was completely different. It was an off white, scared with claws shancded arcross the side. Then it hit him, it was the deputy of Moonclan. Hum... he thought to himself, not meeting the cat's gaze again.

Scourgepaw

Like always, the small cat was the last of his clan to enter the clearing. His pale blue eyes were eerily bright in the moonlight. His black fur blended well in the shadows, so he stuck to the darkest parts in the side of the Gathering place. A few tail lengths apart from his clanmates, Scourgepaw settled down in his usual position: tail wrapped tightly around his body, face half hidden by his tail tip and paws. This way he attracted the least amount of attention. Why does Oceanstar even bother to bring me? To keep an eye on me? he wondered, only half-interested in what other cats were doing.


Firepaw

The ginger tom bounded into the clearing after his leader. A lot of things had happened since the last Gathering, not all of them good. Rockleaf's death, Brackenclaw becoming deputy...Firepaw had been slightly relieved now that his mentor, his brother, was now deputy. Dragonstar wouldn't choose a cat who flirted with shecats all day long have such an important role, would he? Of course not! he told himself. Now I have the deputy as mymentor. I can still get away with pranks and stuff--Brackenclaw won't be as strict as a mentor like Darkpaw's. Now they both had mentors who were high ranked. Dragonstar and Brackenclaw.

Things were working out well for him. Firepaw wandered around, looking for familiar faces from other clans.

muddyplet padded into the clearing fallowing his leader he saw the cat of all cats he wanted to see up on the star rock oh my she's looks wonderful tonight muddyplet thought as he looked up at the cats he saw angelkit? pad in right after he saw the frostclan leader walk in "anglekit what are you doing with frostclan?" muddyplet asked the young cat

CinnamonPelt of FrostClan

A darker grey cat kept up the rear of the FrostClan cats, she felt it her duty to make sure none fell behind. Once sure that all of her clanmate's were in the clearing, she headed over to the medicine cats. Her paws tingled and something nagged at her, deep in her heart... Something was wrong... She shook her pelt to clear her head of the thought and raised her tail to Bluemoon, moonclan's medicine cat, and her bestfiend. Spotting a small cat by her side she guessed this was her apprentice. Her tail quivered in happiness. she was glad her friend had got an apprentice, there were allot of cats in Moonclan. 'Hello Bluemoon, She purred, sitting next to her. 'Who's this?'[/color] Her blue eyes glittered as she looked to the small cat wh owas buzzing by bluemoon.[/size]

Nightwing had lagged behind a little. She was sleeping in camp, since she hadn't gotten much lately. Nightmares haunted her soul, and it was as if with every dream she felt herself being torn apart, bit by bit. But as she saw Cherrypine, every bit she had lost seemed to come back. He was the candle in the darkness, the sun in her sky. She saw the tom standing there. She padded up to him, her eyes bright. ' Hello Cherrypine! ' She purred, then felt an knot in her stomach, and along with that an odd feeling that this love would never last. But she didn't show this odd feeling that she got. She looked at the MoonClan deputy, since Cherrypine seemed to be looking there too.
