Dawnstar felt a sword of pity stab her heart. She was so young, and so loyal. Or atleast she had to be to become deputy. ' I'm so sorry , ' She whispered, pity filling her voice that was cherrful most of the time. ' I shall go next. ' She stepped forward, her gaze swept over all the clans. ' As green-leaf comes, our forest fills with new life and beautiful sounds. My own apprentice, Shadowpaw, was made a warrior and is now known as Shadowflame. ' She meowed, and her gaze fell onto her apprentice. ' And MoonClan has brought two new apprentices today, Smokepaw who is mentored by me, and Spiderpaw, mentored by Muddypelt. ' She looked arounand tried to think of more to say. But there was nothing left to say. She liked to leave little unsaid. ' That is all. ' She meowed and stepped back, turning to Oceanstar. ' Your turn. '

Shadowflame did not flinch as Dawnstar's gaze touched his, nor did he twitch when he felt the eyes of several cats turn to him. He simply stared straight ahead as he waited for the gathering to be over. Nothing was interesting anymore. Nothing nothing at all, save for fighting. That was his true passion...

[Smokey]

Smokepaw felt the eyes of many cats burn into her pelt when Dawnstar gazed at her. She flinched just a bit, but remained settle. Wrapping her tail around her paws, she waited for the other two leaders to announce their news.

Nightpaw Of Moonclan

~Nightpaw looked amused as Shadowflame remained as emotional as a stone when Dawnstar mentioned his name, and several sets of eyes turned to look at him. To Nightpaw, Moonclan's Smokepaw looked like she was trying so hard not to look uncomfortable under the other cats' gazes. She decided that Spiderpaw would have probably tried to hold, but would have lost his composure under the many eyes, had he have come to the gathering. He had not been to a gathering yet. Perhaps, now that he had a mentor, he would come to the next gathering.~




Darkpaw of Earthclan

~Darkpaw stared up the leaders with wide eyes. They looked so magnificent! Darkpaw wanted to be a leader when she was older. Darkstar! Of course, that would never happen. She doubted that she would even make deputy, but hey, a cat can dream! She couldn't wait until she was a warrior either. Being an aprentice was ok, but being a warrior would be much more fun! If you were a warrior, you could do so much more! You were allowed to fall in love, have kits... Kits! Would she fall in love? Who would she fall in love with? Would she have kits? How many? So many questions swirled around Darkpaw's brain as she stared blankly up at the four leaders.~

Firepaw

The ginger tom waited for some sort of acknowledgment of his presence. It seemed that even Nightpaw and the other apprentice had ignored him. Growing annoyed, Firepaw looked around at all the cats, and finally saw a cat who, hopefully, would reply when he said something. I bet Darkpaw won't ignore me. We're from the same clan. We became apprentices at the same time--doesn't that count as something? Breaking through his thoughts, he heard his name. His pelt burned as he felt countless pairs of eyes turn towards him. Firepaw licked his chest fur, hiding his nervousness. Despite feeling slightly uncomfortable, his purple eyes shone with pride.

Nodding in a dignified way toward the other cats, he continued walking towards Darkpaw. Finally, he sat down--again--, and mewed--again--, "Hi!"

Spiritflare

The Sun Clan deputy made his way over towards Brackenclaw. I'm probably the youngest of all the deputies, but I've been one slightly longer than him, he said to himself. Spiritflare waved his tail in greeting. "Congratulations, Brackenclaw! I hope you enjoy being deputy.

Oops, Nightpaw didn't mean to ignore Firepaw. It's her first gathering... so many cats... I forgot he came over.... my bad...

Darkpaw of Earthclan

~Darkpaw noticed as Firepaw came over to her. She tried to hide her raised eyebrow. At the beginning of the gathering, she had gone to sit with him, and he had just walked away, not even noticing her. Darkpaw smiled at Angelpaw.~ See you later Angelpaw. ~Darkpaw turned to Firepaw. His purple eyes mystified her. She wished her eyes were as wonderfully amazing as his were... Darkpaw got a mischeivious look in her eyes. She would bug him about ignoring her, even if he hadn't meant to.~ So you're talking to me now?

Firepaw

He let out an over exaggerated sigh. "Yes...unfortunately..." the flame colored apprentice said playfully, drawing out the 'yes'. Firepaw stretched his paws out in front of him, his purple eyes narrowing. Why do cats want to come to the Gathering so much? It's not that exciting. He glanced back up at the four leaders. Oceanstar was about to speak, but he wasn't too interested in the other clan. He didn't know any cat from any clan other than his own. "Gatherings aren't exciting at all," Firepaw commented under his breath, bored.

Oceanstar nodded and stood. "StarClan has blessed us this moon. The prey has been running well, and Leopardshard has given birth to five healthy kittens, Tigerkit, Cheetahkit, Winterkit, Poolkit, and Eclipsekit. Shatteredpaw is now being mentored by Windracer, and Cinnaompelt has gotten herself an apprentice, Soulpaw. Also, an EarthClan kit by the name of Angelkit came into our camp, asking to join FrostClan. We were told she had permission to go, and I allowed her to join, and now mentor her. I believe that's all." she meowed, then stepped back. "Morningstar?" she meowed, indicating it was the SunClan leaders turn.

CinnamonPelt of FrostClan

CinnamonPelt's blue eyes glittered with pride, she was happy that she had got an apprentice, she was the oldest of all the medicine cats, and the last to get an apprentice. Her ears pricked as the gazes of many other cats fixed on her. She wished her sister and her apprentice were here too, it would take some of the pin-pointed feeling off of her. She gazed up at Oceanstar, dipping her head to her leader, before turning to Soulpaw with a purr.

Nightpaw of Moonclan

~Nightpaw looked at Scourgepaw. Was he hiding? Was that why he was sitting in the Shadows? Why would he be hiding? Or was he just terribly shy? He didn't seem shy. Had he done something wrong? Had he taken an instant dislike to her? Was she pushy? Scourgepaw's hiding, if he was actaully hiding, had made her wonder. Was it her, or him? Was it someone else? Was she imagining things?~

Darkpaw of Earthclan

~Darkpaw grinned at Firepaw, still mesmerized by Firepaw's eyes. Wow. Was the only thing that she seemed able to think. Then, she shook her head, and looked up at the leaders again, making a mental note to tackle Firepaw as soon as the gathering was over. She would tackle him before they got back to camp. If she was lucky, she would tackle him before they even left Star Trees. She hid a mischeivious smirk.~

Smokepaw listened attentively as the leaders spoke and as the medicine cats chatted. He was glad he wasn't the only new medicine cat apprentice. The small, pale, whitish cat padded up to Soulpaw, green eyes warm. His black tail, feet, and muzzle stuck out like a sore paw against light fur under the moonlight. "Congratulations, Smokepaw!" he chirped, excited.



Shatteredpaw barely noticed the other cats looking at him. Holding his head high, his icey eyes were fixed on Oceanstar as she reported their 'news'. In truth, he didn't think Angelpaw should have been allowed to come--she was a brand new apprentice who didn't even belong in their clan. Frost Clan were enemies with Earth Clan. He followed his grandfather's, Tigerstar's, rule that traitors should die. Anglepaw was a traitor to Earth Clan.

"Don't be freightened, Nightpaw. I can easly found what your name is."she mewed to the apperntice. She looked at the apperntice and the cat she was talking to. The other cat looked like he wasn't going to talk to her so Sunheart just looked at Nightpaw and said, "How have you been?"

Nightpaw of Moonclan

~Nightpaw blinked. She had forgotten about Sunheart temporarily, as she wondered about Scourgepaw. Was she that easy to read? Nightpaw looked at Sunheart, and met her gaze evenly. Had the other clan heard about silverclaw? What would she say if Sunheart had, and asked her about it? Trying to sound like an intelligent warrior, she answered with the most mature reply she could think of.~ I've been keeping well. And You?

Scarpaw

The MoonClan cat gazed at the other cats with half-closed eyes. He wasn't in the mood to go around looking for cats to talk to. Scarpaw yawned, and rested his head on his paws.

OOC: oh, BTW, is this the gathering where Redstorm is found dead after? Cause if so, Redstorm needs an excuse to leave early...
