Fieryheart: Deputy of EarthClan


Fieryheart leaped onto the High Rock, she looked around the camp and sighed. She let out the normal call and waited for the cats to gather around. "Let all cat,please, gather around." she had to say what had happened. Brackenstar was captured by Two-legs and she had saw him, he accepted the kitty-pet life! Fieryheart growled in disgust and shook her head, she watched all of the cats of her Clan. I'm actually going to become Leader. she thought. But I have to tell these cats the horrible thing that happened.

Fieryheart sighed and looked around, waiting.

Darkmoon was just sitting on the outside of the Warriors Den. He heard the call for the clan meeting. he wondered what had happened that they needed to call a meeting for. He did a quick stretch and then when most cats were over there he padded over there aswell. Once over there he looked around but was silent. Curiosity kerpt biting at him. He wished the annoucment wasn't taking so long to start...[/size][/color]

Foxpaw

The dark ginger tom poked his head out of the apprentice den, his amber eyes glittering. My, my...Fieryheart seems to have some bad news to share. I wonder what it could possibly be... he thought with baleful amusement. Genius he may be, but the young cat held nothing but evil in his heart, shrouded by the veil of deception he had masterfully woven. Foxpaw hid a smirk. The slight spark of insanity was nowhere to be seen.

Firelight

He padded into camp, a mouse and shrew hanging from his jaws. His violet eyes scanned the camp quickly as the young warrior dropped it off on the growing fresh-kill pile. Where was Brackenstar, his old mentor, his older brother? Firelight hurried towards the foot of the Highrock, glancing around quickly to see if his best friend was anywhere near.

Finchpaw

Tail lashing rebelliously, Finchpaw slunk toward the rest of the cats, the previous day's events running through his mind. He remembered the punishment Fieryheart had given him. His whiskers quivered with suspicion, imagining what the deputy had to say. Maybe it's something to do with Pantherstrike, too. Finchpaw laid down, wrapping his tail tightly around his paws.

Graywhisker

The gray tom looked up, olive green eyes reflecting his curiosity. He spotted his apprentice, Finchpaw, already waiting. For a moment, a darkness seemed to pass over his face, but quickly disappeared. Graywhisker had been thinking of various ways to try to get out of training the younger cat. He's learning quickly. I will not let a cat younger and so much smaller than me to become better. I must be the best. Pushing the thoughts away, Graywhisker reluctantly joined Finchpaw's side to wait.

Twistkit

A small gray tabby bounded out of the nursery, fur fluffed and eyes bright. "A clan meeting!" he squeaked in excitement.

She watched as all the cats came around. Fieryheart would wait for more cats though.


Whirlclaw: Warrior/Queen of EarthClan


Whirlclaw yawned and walked into the clearing. She saw Fieryheart on the Highrock and her head tilted to the left in confusion. What happened?Why isn't Brackenstar up there? she went to sit in a nice spot and took a paw over her ear to fix the apperance of herself. Whirlclaw looked at her stomuch which was slightly bigger, she looked around for Pantherstrike.

Stonefeather

Stonefeather rushed to the Hight Rock. He didnt want to miss it, and for an added bonus he knew Whirlclan was going to be there. He was getting impatient. He wanted the meeting to hurry up so he could share a meal with Whirlclaw.

Skytide

Skytide ran to the big rock where the deputy was. He still had no clue what was left and what was right in the clan life yet. Every cat he knew laughed at his Kittypet origins except his good friend, Stonefeather. Deciding to leave the grumpy cat alone today, he drew his attention back to the Deputy.

"I will start the meeting in just a few moments after more cats gather." she nodded and started thinking about how she would start it. Would I just say what happened? Or would I just start with something else? Oh, I am not ready for this! she flicked her ears in distress.


Whirlclaw: Warrior/Queen of EarthClan


Whirlclaw looked around despretely to find Stonefeather. When she spotted him, her face lit up. She raced towards him. Whirlclaw sat beside him and licked his cheek. "Hello, Stonefeather!" she said excitedly. She wanted to tell him that the kits in her stomuch were growing bigger everyday, she couldn't wait to have them.

A large tiger-like warrior slid from the fresh-kill pile and sat near the high-rock. His dark green eyes shone with curiosity, but he was silent, watching.

The small tortoiseshell she-cat slid from the nursery, watching her kits carefully. She kept an especially close eye on Poisonkit, so that he wouldn't run off like he was always trying to.

Cloudyeyes cerfully slid out of the nursery and sat next to Ashfire. She'd been working on her fighting, and hoped to be able to pick up warrior duties soon. Her blind eyes focused on nothing, but her head was turned towards the sound of Fieryheart's voice. I wonder why she's making an announcement?

A tiny black kit slid out of the nursery and sat in a dark corner. His blood red eyes glared towards Fieryheart. Some day...some day I'll be up there...Doing something useful... he thought, scowling and playing around with a beetle sitting between his paws.

Pantherkit bounced out of the nursery, only to be slid back by Ashfire's tail. She glared up at the young queen and sat there, holding her head high in stubbornness.

Softkit bounded out of the nursery, and strut around like she was the queen of all of them. "Oh look at me, so pretty!" when Cloudyeye's snatched her up and plopped her down next to the other kits, she sat and pouted. 'I wasn't going anywhere! Just showing everyone how pretty I am!" she whined.

Pantherstrike

The muscular, black tom was padding back to camp after he heard the familar words. He was out hunting in the lush forest, thick with new trees and grasses. He loved New-leaf. A time of birth and feasting. Birth... his mind echoed, sadly. Padding the rest of the way to the High Rock, he sat down neatly, large tail going over his large paws. Pantherstrike looked up to see his love. Wonder what is wrong? he questioned himself silently. He waited quietly for Fieryheart to speak.

Checkerpelt

The tortoiseshell she-cat quickly and quietly padded behind her love - her life - Skytide. She had giving him the courage and the knowledge what it was like to love, care, and protect. The former kittypet was quite proud of herself, and the partially blind tom. Hey, Skytide, she purred to the handsome cat. I wonder what's up...but I'm sure everyone else is, she added, glancing at the cats sitting beside her. Slowly, she turned her attention to the brown she-cat standing on the rock, beginning to speak.

Redkit

The small tiger coated tom came out and sat down gingerly in front of the nursery. He noticed Firewing sitting about, whom he looked much like. This cat was his role-model. Redkit was confused when he saw the deputy on the rock, but just flowed with it and waited for the lovely she-cat to speak.

Skytide

"Checkerpelt!" Skytode yowled. He licked his mate's cheek. He was happy to see the cat he had intentionally traveled with to live in the forest. He wasn't even used to calling Checkerpelt her warrior name yet, for he was still used to Skittle. "I also wonder why Fieryheart has called us here." Drake responded, realizing Checkerpelt asked a question.

Stonefeather

Stonefeather stood up straight when he heard Whirlclaw. He was surprised, and happy when he heard the voice. He grinned and licked his mate's nose. He laughed somewhat and turned his attention back to Fieryheart. "I feel bad for her. She and Pantherstrike really have a bond. Stinks they can't have kits." Stonefeather said softly.

Eaglekit looked around for his mother, and when he spotted her looking away, he dashed away from the nursery into the clearing. I wonder why Fieryheart is calling a meeting and not Brackenstar..... Eaglekit thought.

From the back of the camp stepped a long haired tabby tom. He was the medicine cat, and well aware that he was probably the last to make the meeting deputy Fieryheart had called. He had to wonder why it was the deputy calling them together instead of their leader, Brackenstar. But then, that was probably what this was about. What has Brackenstar done? he wondered. From the strained look on Fieryheart's face, it was something bad, and Miracleweaver could not help but think that they would perhaps once more be accepting a new leader.

The deputy watch as Miracleweaver came in, she sighed and dipped her head. Fieryheart let out a yowl for everyone to be silence. Fieryheart waited for the talking amungst the cats to die down. "I have some bad news," she sighed sadly but kept her chin high like a cat should if they have hope and faith. "Brackenstar, are fellow leader, has been captured by Two-legs." she continued. "I saw them drag him away even though he faught."


"I faught with him, to save him but they threw me aside. One Two-leg hit Brackenstar with its paw to knock him out and they threw Brackenstar into their monster!" Fieryheart waited for all cats opinion on this. She had brought most of the bad news out but there was still more to go.


Whirlclaw: Queen of EarthClan


"I know, it's so sad! I feel so bad for them." Whirlclaw whispered but she turned back to Fieryheart. When she heard Brackenstar had been captured she gasped and jumped up to her paws. "Those monsters!" she yowled angerly.

Pantherstrike

"Brackenstar has been captured by two-legs." the large tom had heard. He could tell she wasn't telling the all the truth. Fieryheart, are you sure that's how it went? Pantherstrike knew her too well. Then again, it was shocking their new leader got taken away in a monster, to be a kittypet for someone, after Dragonstar retired so soon. He looked up to Fieryheart, imagining her being Fierystar. Then she would make the rules. We could have kits! his mind screamed with joy, as his heart was about to pop out of his chest.

Checkerpelt

How shocking... she muttered, barely audible.

Firewing hung his head. "Brackenstar was a mighty leader in the short time he held that position. Whatever the two-legs do to him, he won't let them without a fight. We shall always remember him." he meowed, holding back his anger at the two-legs.

Poiaonkit grinned. One leader went down within two moons...When I become a warrior, i'll bring the leader down faster. he thought with a sly grin, picturing himself standing on the high rock, making announcements.

"He's GONE!?! The horror!" she mewed dramatically, her soft yellow eyes wide. "Oh that's so terrible! First Dragonstar, and now Brackenstar! What is this world COMING TO!" she continued, wandering around like it was the end of the world.

"Yes, I am 100% sure!" she said to Pantherstrike. "I watch with my own two eyes. I am pretty sure that's what happened." Fieryheart glared at Pantherstrike for not believing her. Really, Pantherstrike? she thought to herself. Fieryheart couldn't believe he would question her.

Fieryheart looked away from Pantherstrike and to Firewing. "You are right, Firewing. Everyone must remember Brackenstar, he was our leader. Remember him in your heart." she said. Fieryheart looked all around the clearing with all of the cats.

Fieryheart chuckled at Softkit's reaction. "It is okay, Softkit." she said still laughing. "Besides, I do have some good news that can affect a couple of former kits lives." Fieryheart smiled and flicked her tail in excitement.


Whirlclaw: Queen of EarthClan


Whirlclaw scoffed at Pantherstrike's question to Fieryheart. "Are you saying you don't believe her, Pantherstrike?" she said accusingly. Whirlclaw couldn't believe that Pantherstrike would do that to the one he loved. She flattened her ears and looked down at her stomuch, she wanted to tell Fieryheart about her carrying kits but she would after the meeting was over.
