Darkstorm

~The pretty tortoiseshell she-cat came into the camp, and saw that a large group of cats had assembled. She immediatly dropped the squirrel that she had clenched in her jaws on the frosh kill pile, and hurried over to Firelight, her best friend. She sat beside him, her different colored eyes wide when she noticed that Fieryheart was the one making the announcement, not Brackenstar. This panicked her a little bit. She could tell that the other cats were clerly shocked at what Fieryheart's announcement had been. She leaned closer to Firelight, and whispered to him.~ What have I missed? What's going on?

Flarekit

~The very shy tomcat peeked out of the nursery. He was concidering sneaking out of the nursery. That is, he was until he saw how many cats had gathered. He would stay in the nursery. He could hear Fieryheart's announcement fine from where he was. He gasped at what he heard Fieryheart say. Brackenstar was gone! Two leaders gone in such a short amount of time! Had Earthclan done something wrong that Starclan was punishing them for? Then, he noticed a tortoiseshell she-cat sneak into camp, and drop a squirrel on the fresh-kill pile. Then she went and sat beside a ginger tomcat. That must be Darkpaw and Firepaw. I hear that they are very mischeivious. They must be Warriors now! He thought as he watched in silence.~

Pantherstrike

Pantherstrike hung his head, but straightened it back. He would get the whole story from her later. Sorry for underestimating you, he muttered. Then he turned to the snapping queen. Don't snap at me, mouse-brain, he hissed. He realized he just growled at a queen. How much trouble he would be in...Not caring at the moment, he turned away from her and waited for Fieryheart to continue.

Redkit

I can't believe Brackenstar is gone. Two leaders gone in less than four moons, he muttered to his brother, Eaglekit, who was sitting beside him, very concentrated on the deputy and her words.

CougarKit- Kit

A small brown tabby she kit crept out of the nursery and sat down. She pricked her ears, listening, then called, loud enough for all the hear. "So you woke me up to tell us the leaders weak? Which I already knew." CougarKit flicked her ears to pin against her head and gazed around with a cold gaze, as if challenging any cat to push her back into the nursery so she couldn't interrupt the deputy once more.

Fieryheart: Deputy of EarthClan


Fieryheart growled at Pantherstrike in a warning way. She shook her head at him. "Well, the good news is that some kits will now be getting their first mentor." Fieryheart looked at Softkit and Pantherkit and smiled. "Pantherkit, please come forward." she motioned for Pantherkit to come to the High Rock.

"It is time Pantherkit became an apprentice. From this day forward until they have earned their warrior name, this kit will be known as Pantherpaw. Checkerpelt, you are ready to have an apprentice. You will be Pantherpaw's mentor." Fieryheart continued. "I hope that your skills and wisdom will pass through to your new apprentice." she smiled and dipped her head at both Checkerpelt and Pantherpaw.

Fieryheart gestured with her tail for the regularly performed nose touch. She waited for that to be over so that she could announce the next apprentice.


Whirlclaw: Queen of EarthClan


Whirlclaw gasped, the fur on her back bristled up with anger and she snarled at the tom. "How dare you....talking that way to a queen." Whirlclaw flicked her tail in annoyance. "And to think that I felt sorry for that fox-dunged cat!" she whispered to Stonefeather angerly. Whirlclaw hoped that he would stand up for her.

The she-cat's mood changed when she heard that Pantherkit was becoming a new apprentice. Her heart swelled with happiness for the kit.

CougarKit rolled her eyes and melted into the shadows, sitting down. Only her emerald eyes shown. "Hurry up. I've got productive thing to do." She grumbled to herself.

Skytide


Skytide nodded. He chuckled slightly at Softkit's reaction. "Fieryheart, scince you started the ceremony before i could ask, did you get a glimpse of what the twoleg looked like? My old twoleg might have known them. If you didn't see the twoleg, then please describe the 'monster'." Skytide yowled. He was starting to get worried, and if the answer was what he thought it was, Brackenstar would be in trouble.

Stonefeather

Stonefeather growled at Pantherstrike. He turned back to Fieryjeart with glaring eyes after hitting Pantherstrike's muzzle with a warning strike. "Fieryheart, you may be deputy, but I know Brackenstar better then that!" Stonefeather yowled in dissaproval. He glared at the deputy, and he wasn't about to believe her words.

Fieryheart: Deputy of EarthClan


Fieryheart turned at Skytide with a sad look. "No, I did not. I'm sorry everyone." she looked down at her paws in a shamed way. Fieryheart didn't like how she was treated by the cats in the Clan. "Stonefeather, I didn't say that he accepted kittypet life did I?!" she yowled. Fieryheart's fur bristled with rage that the tom wouldn't agree with her. She looked around sadly and angerly. "Do you think that I just let them take them away? I would never! I faught, he faught but he was still taken away. No one knows if he will come back and I don't doubt it..." she hissed at Stonefeahter. "Atleast I'm telling myself that he'll come back!" Fieryheart yowled.

"Well then, since everyone chooses to argue. We will hold off on the apprenticement." Fieryheart sighed and leaped from the High Rock. She slowly swirved through the cats and layed down near Brackenstar's den. Fieryheart didn't want to go to the Warriors Den, she knew that every cat would be questioning her about it so she wasn't about to take chances.

Stonefeather

Stonefeather stayed silent now. He knew he was already in trouble for getting in a fight with the soon-to-be leader. "Dont get your tail tied in a knot..." Stonefeather muttered.

Skytide

"Stupid Stonefeather just had to say that, didn't he?" Skytode asked, looking towards his mate. "I just hope the monster they threw Brackenstar into wasn't the blood red truck..." Whispered Skytide.

Eaglekit answered Redkit by saying, "It's just so hard to lose leaders as fast as we do." He padded away and heard Skytide saying "I just hope the monster they threw Brackenstar into wasn't the blood red truck..." and Eaglekit bounded over to him. "Why?" he asked. "What's in the blood red truck?"

Foxpaw

He listened calmly as his clanmates exchanged remarks, unphased by the announcement. He could tell that they were all distressed, but truthfully he was rather amused. I could really care less. Foxpaw got to his paws and stretched, his bushy tail fluffed. Silently, he padded after Fieryheart as she ducked into the leader's den, probably to hide from her clanmates. His eyes glinted disdainfully. Pathetic. She can't handle the other cats, even though she's deputy, soon to be leader, so she hides in her new den. And blackmailing them all, too!

Poking his head into the den, his orangey eyes glowed, not showing any of his true beliefs. "I hardly think threatening them all will make them like you anymore. I suppose you think all of them have to listen to you just because you say so. If that's what you really feel, then I'm sure no cat would want to. You will never fill Brackenstar's pawsteps," he stated, and then drew back, slipping back towards the apprentice den.


Twistkit

Listening to his littermates, the brown tabby spoke up unexpectedly. "What does it matter what kind of monster he got thrown in? A monster is a monster, and it won't help us help him come back knowing what color the monster was."

Checkerpelt

Checkerpelt was pleased she got such a fine apprentice. She seemed a bit like her when she was a kit. It would be quite easy to train Pantherpaw, along with a touch of fun and all other mixed things. Stonefeather will be Stonefeather, the tortoiseshell she-cat purred in amusement as a reply to her mate. So Skytide - why does it matter what monster Brackenstar was taken away in? Was your two-leg's monster a red 'truck'? Now Checkerpelt turned her attention to Eaglekit. If you heard me responding to Skytide, it maybe his former two-leg's monster and he knows where the two-leg lives.

Redkit

A smile went across Redkit's little face. He was happy that his littermate Pantherkit - now Pantherpaw - got her apprentice name. Soon, he'd be getting his. Not long now... he whispered to himself. There went Eaglekit, being himself and butting into conversations. The tiger coated kit sighed, sitting and watching comfortably.

Pantherstrike

Pantherstrike let out a faint snort, not loud enough for anyone else but him to hear him. He heard Whirlclaw complaining about him snapping at her. He assumed it was a 'whisper' to her mate, Stonefeather. Whisper any louder, could you? he snorted at the she-cat. Now he was off to find his one-true-love, Fieryheart, who was also the deputy. Black coat rippling as he climbed up to where Brackenstar's den was, he plumped himself beside the she-cat. I'm sorry about earlier, he mewed, apologeticness filling his sweet tone. But I just have a feeling you didn't say all you could. What happened?

Fieryheart: Deputy of EarthClan


Fieryheart took what Foxpaw said into consideration. "Foxpaw!" she called. She padded towards him and nodded. "Thanks." Fieryheart said, "I know I won't fill his palce, but I will try and if I don't succeed...I won't care." Fieryheart smiled, dipped her head to the apprentice and padded back towards the Leaders Den. She wasn't even thinking of going inside.

She saw Pantherstrike coming towards her and she scoffed. Fieryheart heard his apology. "Well, Pantherstrike, apology accepted but I don't think that was right off you to just go along and do that." Fieryheart glared at the tom. Now she wasn't going to believe Pantherstrike's words. Fieryheart looked away from him and looked at the High Rock. She wanted to go over there and finish the meeting. "Nothing else happened. And if something did, I don't think I would tell you now." she stood and walked back to the High Rock, Fieryheart leaped onto it and sat there just to wait.

Fieryheart just waited, she wasn't about to command silence once more. She remember Foxpaw's words. Fieryheart didn't want the whole Clan to hate her, she wanted peace but it was going to be hard. Fieryheart smiled nad stuck her chin out like a real almost-to-be leader should.


Whirlclaw: Queen of EarthClan


Whirlclaw just scoffed, she felt her stomuch move and she jumped. All it was was kits. She sighed but she smiled when she saw Fieryheart back on the High Rock. Atleast 1 cat had faith in Fieryheart.

Cougarkit rolled her eyes and stayed in the shadows, grooming herself. "Who cares if he comes back? Just a leader. Another would just take over, disappear two moons later, and yet another cat would take over. How complicated is that?" She grumbled to herself.

Pantherstrike

The large tom sighed and watch Fieryheart walk out to sit on High Rock's ledge. Of course he was going to follow. Now he had a different matter to discuss with her. Pantherstrike walked to her and sat down beside her. Fieryheart... he started. You and I both know Brackenstar is not coming back... And you're going to be in charge. We both love each other, enough to have kits. Once you take the last name star, we could have them, he mewed to the deputy. They would be great... he whispered to hiself, a small tear wetting the ground.

"That is my owners van, but Yukon, My sister, is there. My owner only used the Blood red truck when he is bringing an animal to the vet." Skytide whispered.
