Miracleweaver met Fieryheart's gaze and gave her the best encouraging look he could summon, and then sat still and quiet as she began to speak. Her words confirmed his suspicions. Brackenstar was gone. Although he was saddened to see a cat taken captive against their will, he had not known the leader well personally, so his sadness went only so deep. This meant that Fieryheart would become leader now, another cat he new little of. Perhaps he start spending more time with the rest of the clan and less hidden away in his den.

As always, there was something around to distract him from more serious things. And as always he was eager for that event to present itself. This time, it was one of Sleetpads's children, Softkit, who was acting like the world was coming to an end. An interesting character that one would be. Having nothing better to do at the moment, he padded over near the nursery where the small she-cat sat. "Hey there Softkit, I hear the world is coming to an end in your mind, " he said, a twinkle in his eye. Oftentimes kits were his favorite members of the clan.

Fieryheart rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Pantherstrike, I don't think I want to break warrior code now...too much to handle. I mean, no one would want to take my kits. Even if you were the father no one would take them because they would have me inside their blood!" Fieryheart hissed. She already knew that none of the cats like her, but Fieryheart's goal was to get them to like her. Fieryheart turned her back on Pantherstrike.


"Skytide, what would they do at the vets?" she asked calmly. Fieryheart wasn't about to stop questioning if Skytide knew about the vet and what they did.

Softkit looked up as Miracleweaver came over. "Why hello Miricleweaver! And YES! The world is definitely coming to an end. I mean, first Dragonstar dies, now Brackenstar's gone. Rockleafe died before that...i mean, the world is clearly DOOMED!" she mewed, running around, then falling over dramatically at the end, then scrambling up and running back over to Miracleweaver.

"The vet is where the cutter is." Skytide responded. "My sister went there before." He added.

Fur clad paws slid out in front of him as the tom lay down. He was grateful for the kit's willingness to converse, and would make the time last as long as possible. Afterward he might venture into the nursery. Perhaps one of the kits would catch his eye as being the correct one to take on as an apprentice. With so many there had to be one. But for now he would play with Softkit to give himself a break.

"Well, you're quite the actor now aren't you?" He chuckled. She would be an interesting one to teach when the time came. However, she was certainly not the one for him. He was not sure he could handle all too much of her crazy drama queen actions. It was amusing for the moment though. "So,"

Redkit

The kit padded from his spot outside the nursery and his paws ended up taking him to his sister, Softkit, and Micacleweaver. Redkit could tell that the medicine cat was amused by his littermate. The tiger coated tom was in one of his very calm moods, which he was in, most of the time. But he had his moments. Hi, Softkit and Micacleweaver, he mewed politely, nodding his head at the two cats. How's everything? he asked, not paying attention to the cats passing by and going back to what they were doing.

Fieryheart sat there calmly. "Skytide, I don't think Brackenstar was taken to the cutter." she shook her head as if she couldn't believe even what herself was saying. "I don't think it was a red truck, I don't remember what color it was...." she frowned but glanced at Softkit. Miracleweaver had apparently taken a liking to Softkit and Fieryheart smiled to herself. "Well, if that is all of this meeting we can all wait until I have figured out the plans for a couple more kits to become Apprentices." she said sighing lightly. "Does anyone have anything else to say? About anything?" Fieryheart looked around and looked at every cats face. She waited for someone to say something.
