New Moon's Promise (OPEN to RL & MoonClan)

Lonefire padded silently through the thinly vegitated forest. He knew all about the Clans that lived in this territory, and yet he was hungry. He had been hiding in a shrub as he watched the Clan cats head off of their territory, as they do every new moon. A slight breeze rustled his black fur as he slunk towards the river, a moving shadow in the impenetrable blackness of the night. Like all cats, this loner is a night hunter, and has no problem, thanks to his amazingly sharp green eyes, finding his way around.

Continuing to slink towards the river, ears pricked, he saw that there were still fish, and started to walk faster, the smell of fresh, running water reaching his nose. Lonefire's claws raked across a stone, and he froze, hackles rising. He breathed a sigh of relief as there was no movement to react to the noise. Almost to the bank, he thought he smelled another cat, but shook his head I'm hearing things again... he thought to himself angrily, veering around a cattail that was sticking out.

Finally, yes finally, he reached the bank. At this point, snow began to fall, just lightening his mood even more... The loner unsheathed his ebony claws, seeing a shadow in the water. raising his paw, he began to strike the water, sending a small goby flying into the air. "Ha!" he yowled softly, glad that his work had paid off. Lonefire is the best non-Clan cat fisher, and he wanted to keep that title. Snatching it out of the air, he promptly began to eat, caution thrown to the wind.

Amber tore through the bushes, smelling another cat. Thats strange, he thought, normally the cats are out on the full moon.

When he reached the pool, he saw a cat eating its fish. "What are YOU doing here?" he groweld. "Your supposed to be at the gathering."

[Ember]

Lonefire whirled around, keeping his claws on the goby. Mouse dung! he cursed himself. Of course the snow would cause him to lose his near invisibility in pitch darkness. His green eyes flashed silently as he thought of what he could say, whether the cat be a rogue or a Clan cat. If the cat were to be a Clan cat, he'd have to leave the territory immediately, but if the tom was a Clan cat, wouldn't he notice that the loner wasn't? Yes, he decided, there is no way that this cat is a Clan cat. Growling deep in his throat, he lashed out at the rogue, "What business is that of yours? It is I who should question you being here, as this is my Clan's territory!"

Lonefire knew that he had to convince the rogue that indeed he was a Clan cat. He lashed out with his paw, his fangs glaring menacingly at the "intruder". "Get out of my territory now, or I'll help you leave!" he snarled.

I've been on this territory before Amber thought and I've never seen this cat. "I suggest that YOU leave, as this is not your territory, but MINE." Amber growled deep in his throat, thinking that the other tom wouldnt notice that this wasn't his territory. I hope he really isnt a Clan cat he thought.

Amber lept into the air, landing on the tom's back. "I got you now!" he snarled. "And you can't do anything about it!"

[Ember]

Lonefire snorted in contempt as the rogue jumped onto his back. Abandoning his prey, he rolled onto his back, the other cat trapped beneath his powerful body. "Just because I was recently made a warrior doesn't mean that I'm not a member of MoonClan, rogue!" he yowled, thinking fast. Now he was glad that he had spent so much time learning about the four Clans, even though he had never actually met a Clan cat before. He knew their scent, and this mangy rouge was not one of them! Oh, StarClan, I wish my father was here! he didn't know it, but his father was closer than he ever could've imagined... right over at the Star Trees.

ivy was softly padding though the forest when she hear two cats fighting she sunk up on them "you know if your trying to hunt your never going to get any if you keep up this noise" ivy said trying to hid her hostility her hair was raising as the fight got bigger "if you two don't stop fighting I will kill both of you" ivy said the eyes turning dark forest green and all you could see of her were her eyes "you will join starclan and never come back" ivy said with pure evil in her eyes

"Do shut up, she-cat." Amber said, raking his claws against Lonefires belly. "We will do as we please."

As he scratched the tom, he wanted only to hurt him. Amber was a cat without feelings, and he wanted the other cat to feel pain, as he did all those years back. "Get off me!" Amber yoweld.

[Ember]

Lonefire grunted. Another one? And all I wanted to do was eat.. he narrowed his eyes as he surveyed the newcomer. Look, he meowed, trying to keep the contempt out of his voice, All I wanted to to was hunt in my own territory when this mousebrain came along and scared off all of the prey! he yowled as the rogue's claws connected just below his ribcage, sinking into some of the soft fur of his underbelly. Leaping off of the tom, he banged the rogue (amber, that is) on the head, hard enough to send shockwaves up the loner's paw.

Amber mewed, "Oh why!" and then his lights went out (only temporary)

Ivy grinned, "well that make two of us.'' Ivy said padding onto a moon lit rock and licking her paw . "Now you" Ivy said flicking her tail at Amber "Get your foxdung butt out of here." Ivy said angrily "Or would you like me to do it for you." Ivy said with pure evil in her voice.

When Amber awoke, he wanted one thing: The she-cat to be dead.

Amber lept at Ivy, thrashing around with his paws. He bit her once on the ear, and once just above her right eye. He slashed into her left cheek, then her right. "I hav had pain for most of my life!" he yelled, "And now you will feel it too!"

Amber jumped to the side of the she-cat, raking his claws down her left side.
"How do you like it?" he asked roughly.

ivy was surprised at the cats attack. "If i have to face pain so do you." Ivy said throwing her self to the side. And landing on her attacker. "How dose that make you feel."ivy said evilly. She scraped Amber's neck with her front claw. And bit her ear as well. And now Ivy was standing over Amber. "any last words before you die." Ivy said racking Amber's side with her claws. And going to finish her off with a bite to the neck. Ivy bit Amber's neck. "now hoe dose that feel." Ivy said with evil rising in her voice. She saw something in the shadows. And she leap up into a near by tree. She smelled badger she thought.

Amber smelled the badger. And leaped up into the tree that ivy was in."I really did not want to do this but." Amber hit ivy on the head and she fell to the ground.

Ivy hit the ground and she could not get up. But as the smell of badger got closer she leaped up though in pain. And fought the badger, the badger slashed at Ivy. And hit her side. And she leaped onto the badgers back. And racked her claws down the badgers side. The badger fell to the ground and Ivy bit the badgers neck. And she jumped back into the tree. "Now where were we oh yes." Ivy said evilly and she pounded into Amber sending both of them on to the ground.

Amber was send he air and onto the ground."Dumb she-cat." He spat, and Amber pushed Ivy off of him. And he stood over her. "Any last words she-cat." he hissed.

Ivy looked at Amber with mercy and begging for him to spare her. "Don't do it, why would you hurt a cat that is clearly weaker then you." Ivy whispered softly

Amber saw the evil yet nice she-cat beg for mercy. Though he would never let A enemy get A way. He had to let this one go. For he saw something in her but did not know what."I will spare you this time, but never again." He clearly was falling for her

(that's kind of weird to have two cats that you RP fall in love w/ each other... if you're going to have those two become mates you might want to put one of them up for adpotion or something.)

[green] Lonefire watched silently as the two cats fought, still furious that the tom had tried to chase him off of Clan territory. "Now will the two of you get off my territory?" he hissed, his tail lashing as he thought of the prey, dirty and trampled, he had caught.
