A FrostClan Apprentice In EarthClan? (OpEn)

Mysticpaw ran through Small Forest, nervous and aware. "I have to see Miracleweaver..." she whispered to herself. She accidentily stepped on a twig and it snapped, so she stopped. She looked around to be sure no other cat heard it.

Redpaw heard the snap through the forest and she let out a yowl. She raced through the forest and scented the air. "A FrostClan cat!" Redpaw growled loudly and raced even faster through the forest. When the scent had gotten stronger she stopped and peeked through an opening in the bushes, she ran and pounced onto the intruder. "What are you doing in EarthClan territory?" Redpaw growled in the cat's face, apparently it was an apprentice.

"Im going to see Miracleweaver!" Mysticpaw replied quickly. She scrambled out from under the other apprentice and sniffed theair. "R-... Redpaw?" She asked confusingly.

Redpaw back a few mouse-lengths back from the cat. "Do I know you?" she said inquisitively. Redpaw looked over the apprentice and noticed it was Mysticpaw, the medicine cat apprentice the she met at the border. "Mysticpaw?" she said with a confused expression.

The grey shadow had slipped out of frostclan camp behind her apprentice. She was not a warrior, but she knew her own apprentice's scent well enough to track her pawsepts and find her. Upon hearing commotion and voices, she darted towards the Earthclan border. Immediately she recognized the scent of EarthClan. What could Mysticpaw want with earthclan cats? it wasn't miricleweaver, she knew his scent well enough by now. She held back a hiss as she leaned closer, the apprentices were both in her eye shot and her earshot, but her coat was a good camouflage in the shaded bush she had situated herself in. She was still in FrostClan territory, but only just. She would wait for either cats next move, before she interviened.

Finchpaw

The tiny tom trotted through his clan's territory, when he caught the scent of FrostClan. Breaking into a run, it wasn't long before he skidded to a halt in front of her. Finchpaw recognized her as Mysticpaw, the medicine cat apprentice from earlier on. Blue-violet eyes narrowed, he glared at her frostily. "Why are you here?" he snarled. "What's wrong with your own mentor?"

Mysticpaw nodded. The cat had noticed it was her. "Can you please lead me to Miracleweaver's den? I would like to speak with her about something." Mysticpaw asked. She didnt notice Cinnamonpelt yet. I should probably ask Miracleweaver about that dream i had last night to... Im scared to tell anybody in my own clan about it... Mysticpaw thought, waiting for a reply. "Hey, Finchpaw! I just came to see Miracleweaver about something." Mysticpaw said when Finchpaw came.

'I think you should have asked me before you decided to go into another Clan's territory.'[/color] The Grey cat emerged from the bush and approached her apprentice. 'There is not problem with needing to see miricleweaver, but you must tell me first.'[/color] She looked at the apprentices who seemed to have rallied up around her own. 'Shouldn't you be training with your mentors?'[/color] The blue eyes narrowed as she looked around at the apprentices. She wasn't angry at them, but she was concerned for her apprentice, with a sigh, she looked down at her apprentice. [/size]

Finchpaw

He glared at the two cats. "What's wrong with your own mentor?" he repeated, staring at Mysticpaw through narrowed eyes. Then he faced Cinnamonpelt. "Why should we be with our mentors if your own apprentice is sneaking onto our territory?"

Redpaw looked at the cats around. "Why would you need to ask us that? You should be punishing your little apprentice for crossing the lines of EarthClan even though she is a Medicine Cat Apprentice doesn't mean she is allowed to cross without permission from you!" she growled a soft growl and pricked her ears. Redpaw lowered her head in a threat and growled again. She could hear someone coming from the forest and she turned towards it. Oh great! More cats, like it isn't enough already. When Redpaw noticed it was Fieryheart she backed away. She gulped loudly.

Fieryheart traveled through the forest towards some sounds that she could hear with her huge ears. She could hear the voices of apprentices and an older cat. Fieryheart started a quick run through the forest npw, when she saw the cats she gasped. "Redpaw! Finchpaw! she growled. "How dare you talk to a Medicine Cat like that or for that matter any cat." Fieryheart flicked Redpaw on the shoulder with her tail. "Hello there, Cinnamonpelt!" she said cheerfully. "How may I help you here?" Fieryheart twitched her ears around as she heard other sounds in the forest.

Finchpaw

The rebellious tom flicked his ears at the deputy's approach. She may be a medicine cat apprentice, but she's still an intruder, and she still hasn't answered my question. He lowered his hackles, but his blue-violet eyes flashed. "Mysticpaw wants to talk with Miracleweaver for some reason. Apparently, there's something wrong with her mentor. She intruded onto our territory without any warning or permission. Redpaw and I were defending EarthClan's territory," Finchpaw explained, not waiting for Mysticpaw. As he spoke, his eyes never left the two FrostClan cats.

"Sorry Cinnamonpelt... I just... I wasnt thinking..." Mysticpaw said, trying as hard as she could to make up an excuse. "ANYWAYS..." Mysticpaw said, changing the subject quickly. "These two are Finchpaw and Redpaw, two EarthClan apprentices I met last night when I was showing Mousekit the forest." Mysticpaw said, not realizing the Mousekit part was a bad idea.

Redpaw flicked her ears and nodded her head in agreement to Finchpaw's answer, afraid of what the deputy would say to them. She turned her head away from the FrostClan cats and lowered her body to the ground in embarrassment.

Fieryheart sighed. "Well, they are Medicine Cats and Medicine cats are not to be bothered if they wish to speak with our fellow Medicine cat. You two should know better, you will be punished later when we are back in camp." she flattened her ears and flicked her tail from side to side in warning for no back-talk.

Fieryheart turned to Mysticpaw, "If you need to talk to Miracleweaver, then you may. If it is okay with your mentor to be out of camp. She is your mentor therefore she may choose if you can pass your border." Fieryheart dipped her head to Cinnamonpelt for a reply from the part where the Apprentice had taken a kit out of camp without permission. More to deal with..poor Oceanstar will have to deal with that. I can not punish a different cat in another Clan but I may punish these to. Fieryheart turned towards Redpaw and Finchpaw, she growled soflty. She could see Redpaw flinch back.

He glared at Fieryheart, his neck fur beginning to bristle. "Why should we be punished for defending our territories?" he demanded, his voice rising. "What's wrong with her asking her own mentor? If she's going to come onto EarthClan terrt" Finchpaw lashed his tail furiously, mutinously. "Why not take some prey while you're at it? Or get some EarthClan secrets?" If we have any secrets. Besides, medicine cats only meet during the half moon at the Moonstone. And since when did medicine cat apprentices get the right to traipse freely across the territories?

Redpaw gasped. "Finchpaw!Your going to get in more trouble..." she nudged the tom with her head.

"Do I need to report your tantrum to our leader?The one who will punish you more harshly than I was?" she padded Finchpaw's head with sheathed claws, lucky for him. She hissed. "From now on, you will be the one hunting for the elders and Redpaw will only join with you until I say she can stop. But you, Finchpaw, will get double the punishment. You will also be cleaning out the Elders den without any help because you talked back to me!" she glared at the Apprentice and growled. Fieryheart hit him upside the head again. "You are being punished because you refuse to listen to what I say and keep back talking! It was none of your buisness to know why this young Apprentice needed to see Miracleweaver for. That would be between Miracleweaver and Mysticpaw."

Her haunches raised on her back and she dismissed Redpaw to go back to the camp. Redpaw had no intention of getting more in trouble, she ran as fast as she could back to camp. "You are staying right here with me, and then you will be hunting with me watching you." she snorted.
