From Poolkit to Poolpaw

[Blue the Bumblebee]

Bluemoon walked up to the cave that containd the Moonstone. This was the big night her apprentice would be accepted by StarCaln. She was excited for her. She sat an waited for her apprentice to join her. She had ran pretty fast, but Poolkit was a fast runner as well.

Poolkit lagged behind her mentor a bit, but finally caught up when Bluemoon stopped at the Moonstone. Soo, what do I do? the apprentice asked, her pelt now shining silver in the moonlight.

[Blue the Bumblebee]

Well, we go in. Assoon as we go in, we mustn't talk. The moonstone is unmistakeable. You'll know it when you see it. Toch your nose to it,and wait for StarClan to sendyou a dream. she meowe3d.

[Smokey]

Okay. Lead the way.

[Blue the Bumblebee]

"Alright, follow me." she meowed. She walked into thewinding tunnels that lead to the moonstone.

Okay, the silvery kit mewed before she padded into the tunnel after Bluemoon.

Poolkit saw Bluemoon was getting ready to press her nose to the Moonstone. Quickly, she got in the same position as her mentor. She waited for a nod, telling her that it was time.

She nodded, and toched her nose to the Moonstone. She instantly fell asleep adn was transported to Starlan's hunting grounds. She waited for her apprentice to appear, as well.

[Smokey]

Poolkit saw the nod and waited until her mentor touched noses to the glowing stone. Instinctively, she repeated what Bluemoon did.

The silver kit appeared beside her mentor in StarClan skies. Whoa... she gasped.

Poolkit, she begain, Do you peomise ti uphold the ways of amedicine cat, to stand apart from the rivalry between Clan and Clan, and protect all cats, enev at the cost of your own life? she asked her apprentice.

[Smokey]

Poolkit nodded. I do, she mewed.

Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your medicine cat apprentice name. Poolkit, you shall be known as Poolpaw. She meowed. Just then, a silvery she cat came from the shaowds. Welcome, Poolpaw. Silverstream said.

Behind the silvery shape of the lithe and pretty silverstream, another cat appeared, his starry pelt was somewhat darker than the she-cat's, and his eyes shone with knowledge beyond those of the normal cats of the forest. He was a well known member of StarClan to Medicine Cats, as he liked to make sure they were OK and knew what was going on. His eyes shone with pride as he looked at the newest member of the clans to become a medicine cat; 'Greetings, Poolpaw. My name is Jayfeather. I too was a medicine cat long before your time, and i would like to welcome you officially into the life of a medicine cat.'

The kit - now an apprentice nodded approvingly at her new name. Then she gaped once she saw the two starry cats. H-hello, Jayfeather, she mumbled, still amazed in seeing the two cats. And thank-you. The medicine cat apprentice now turned to the silver she-cat who did not introduce herself. ...who are you? she murmured, feeling dumbfounded that she did not know this beautiful cat's name.

My name is Silverstream. Bluemoon and I were close during her apprenticeship, and I am proud to see her name her new apprentice. She meowed.
