Firepaw
The flame-colored tom padded restlessly around camp, flicking his ears from boredom and impatience. I can't wait to go to the Moonstone! Usually only leaders and medicine cats get to go, he thought, whiskers quivering as he wondered what it would look like. Maybe, maybe it's a giant boulder or something--or it could be real tiny, like pebble. I doubt it though. Violet eyes bright, Firepaw stopped by the fresh-kill pile, nosing through to see if there were any 'fresh' fresh-kill. The pile was rather low, what with all the things that had happened. He let out a sigh, and sat down, bored.

Darkpaw ~Darkpaw spotted her best friend, Firepaw, and padded over to him quickly. She was still upset about now having her third mentor, but she was trying to cheer up, even if it wasn't working. Perhaps hanging out with Firepaw would help cheer her up. She sat down beside the bored looking tomcat, and licked her ginger forepaw casually.~ |

Redpaw
Redpaw padded around the camp.She groaned every now and then when she saw some of the cats having more fun then she was.She spotted a nicely caught mouse on the fresh kill pile.Hmm..that looks good to eat. Redpaw smiled to herself and stalked towards it.She pulled it out by its tail and wrapped her jaws around it.She looked for a place to sit when she spotted Firepaw.Redpaw padded over to him and dropped the fresh-kill by his side."Heya,Firepaw.!" she said happily.She sat down and dug into her mouse.

He gave the two of them a glance. "Hi," he greeted, giving himself a quick shake. His dark ginger fur was fluffed upwards slightly, crackling with impatience. "I can't wait to go to the Moonstone," he mewed.

Pantherstrike
The mini panther padded to the fresh-kill pile, when he saw 3 apprentices sharing tongues. He walked over to them and sat down. Heya guys. What's new? he meowed.

Redpaw nodded a greeting to Darkpaw and Pantherstrike."Well,all that I know is that we are all bored out of are fur." she growled.Not happy with not having a mentor.She wished that someone could name her a mentor and get it over with.Redpaw shook herself from her temper."Pantherstrike,why has no one givin me a mentor?" she frowned and flicked her tail and ears back and forth.

Darkpaw ~Darkpaw was in mid-stroke when she heard Redpaw's voice. She opened her eyes, and stopped licking her paw. She looked at the other she-cat, and saw that she was eating. Darkpaw shut her eyes and looked away. She hadn't eaten since she had heard of Dragonclaw's retirement. She didn't feel like eating. then she heard Firepaw's excited reply, and Pantherstrike's question. She didn't open her eyes, or turn her head back in the direction of Redpaw and her meal.~ |

The she-cat listened to Pantherstrike's words and mumbled something to herself.Redpaw wasn't very sure about talking to Brackenstar about anything yet,she didn't feel comfortable about talking to the leader yet."Hey,Firepaw," she whispered in his ear."you wanna go and explore?" Redpaw really needed to get around and explore.Her mysterious trait had kicked in after awhile and she would take advantage of it.She flicked her tail impatiently.Redpaw growled at Darkpaw and continued to eat her meal.Redpaw snickered to herself and turned to Pantherstrike.

OOC: Does Darkpaw have a rival? Darkpaw ~Darkpaw heard Redpaw ask firepaw if he wanted to go exploring with her, and then she heard Redpaw growl. She opened her eyes just in time to realized that Redpaw was looking at her while she growled. What had she done to Redpaw that deserved to be growled at and left out? It didn't matter. If Redpaw didn't like her, that was up to Redpaw. Darkpaw looked at Firepaw, and her different colored eyes met his violet ones. No matter what she did or how she felt, the color of his eyes mystified her.~ |

Firepaw
Eyes narrowing, he hid a devious glint in his purple eyes as he glanced at Redpaw. "I wouldn't mind some hunting. You should finish up that mouse first though--no need letting it go to waste," he replied, his voice smooth. "When you're done, we'll be waiting in the forest. Take your time." Turning to Darkpaw, he added, "Let's get started." With that, the fiery apprentice dashed off towards the entrance of the den, an idea for a prank forming in his mind, waving his tail for Darkpaw to follow.

She slowly stood up, trying not to make it obvious that Firepaw was planning something. she nodded politely to Redpaw, and tried not to hurry after Firepaw. Once she was out of Redpaw's sight, she started to race after Firepaw.~ |

Redpaw snapped her head around to Firepaw."Got it!" she said,her eyes showed the same glint as Firepaw's.She smiled and watched as Firepaw left with Darkpaw.She narrowed her eyes at Darkpaw and turned to her mouse.Redpaw finished it in a couple of gulps and stood.She shook her fur and stalked to the camp entrance.When she was clear that no one can see her,she raced out.Redpaw stiffed around she caught the scent of Firepaw and Darkpaw and followed.She came along a rock and sat ontop of it,she sat waiting impatiently.Finally,she yowled out a call for them to come out.
