The swift, she-cat MoonClan apprentice, wove around the mighty trees of the forest she lived in. The gray cat was going to a battle session, with her mentor, Dawnstar, who was also her clan's leader. It was a great day for any kind of training! Smokepaw just adored both kinds of training - battle training and hunting. Soon, the young cat reached the Mirror River and awaited for her mentor to arrive.

The day was very cloudy, witch was odd knowing how nice yesterday was. It had been three days since Dawnstar received the shocking news of the fact that SunClan was attacking. The she-cat tensed as she noticed her apprentice chose the Mirror River. ' Smokepaw, wouldn't you rather go to the Sandy Training Hallow? It's much easier to battle train there. Smokepaw was lapping at the ice cold water when her mentor arrived. "Oh uh...my bad..." Smokepaw felt like an idiot. She hung her gray head down, and let her tail droop, as she followed her mentor to the training hollow.
