Icekit stood outside the leaders den. His mother had given him permission to go outside. He just stared at the entrance into the large stump. He took a step forwards, but hesitated. He took a step backwards and continued staring. "I cant do it..." he said softly to himself. If only he had some friends with him, he would have been able to do it. He continued the staring.

Moonpaw

~Moonpaw has been sitting alone, her blue-gray coat blending well with the shadows. When she saw Icekit, she padded over to him. It hadn't been a moon since she had shared the nursery with him. Her father had been alive then. She rose, and padded over to her former denmate, her face expressionless, her eyes guarded.~ Hello Icekit.

A siver she-cat padded over to Moonpaw and a small kit, Icekit. She brought a rabbit, and dropped it by the two ' Hello ' She meowed, and pushed the rabbit in the middle after taking a bite. ' Help yourself, I never eat it all anyway. '

Icekit looked at the cat. "Umm... Hello." Icekit mewed. He looked at the cat thankfully.

~Moonpaw kept her exdpression guarded. Even though she had been sharing the nursery with this kit a moon ago, but she didn't trust him any more than she trusted her own sister, which was the same amount of trust that she would give Scourge.~

He stepped out of the apprentice den, spotting a small kit standing by the leader's den. What are they doing? Scourgepaw wondered. What would a kit need to see a leader about? The small black cat slunk a bit closer, pretending that he was getting a piece of fresh-kill.

Icekit saw no expression on the cat's face whatsoever. He had always wondered how cats did that. He had seen them do it and tried it all the time, but he always bursts out laughing. "So, why are you here anyways?" Icekit asked. He said this in a friendly tone so that she wouldnt he was being mean. He flicked his tail and waited for an answer.

(Moonpaw is only just 6 moons old. if Icekit were younger than a moon old, then they couldn't have shared the nursery)

Moonpaw

I haven't anything better to do. ~Moonpaw replied, still kept her expression very guarded. Her eyes flicked around, and she saw Scourgepaw nearby, pretending to be getting a peice of fresh kill. She hid her half amused, half insulted feelings. She wasn't stupid enough to beleive that he was actually getting a peice of fresh kill. He was being nosy. Moonpaw looked down at Icekit again.~ Am I not allowed to walk on this part of the camp clearing?

Citruspelt was coming out of the nursery, just from talking to his kit, Sacredkit, when he saw one of her denmates at the leader's den. The dappled tom saw Scourgepaw acting like he was getting a peice of fresh-kill. That was blunt. Citruspelt walked where the kit and apprentice stand. "Hello, you two," he said, trying to be a happy cat. Then, he glanced at the kit. "What do you need, Icekit?" He was offering to help.

Icekit looked at Citruspelt, who asked if he could help. "I sort of want to see the leader, but... im scared... the leader is like, the top cat... if I even say the wrong thing, anything could happen..." Icekit explained. He told the truth about anything.

"What do you need from Oceanstar? I'm sure she wouldn't be mad," Citruspelt said, encouragly. Depending what Icekit wants... he added, in his mind.

"I dont know, I just... Ive always wanted to travel a little farther from camp and territory, and I just dont think she'll like the idea..." Icekit replied.

"I see. And you're how old?" Citruspelt questioned the kit.
