sparklepaw padded out into a clearing and sat down awaiting her mentor sunberry "hurry up sunberry" sparklepaw called into the forest she wanted to train so she could be the best warrior of all cats

A amber she-cat padded after the young apprentice, lagging behind. Why had her mother done this to her? Did she really think this was a punishment? If she did she was waaaay off track. She heard the apprentice speak, but barely listened. She looked around, it was only dawn and the apprentice wanted to train. She felt dew on the ground, and her paws were somewhat wet when she got to her apprentice. ' Okay, we'll start with hunting practice. ' Sunberry meowed. She looked at the bright apprentice. ' Let me see your best hunting crouch if you were preying on a mouse ' She could hear the morning birds singing, and saw the blue bird in a nearby tree. A dove fluttered over to morning sun. It's a shame Sparkpaw wanted to come out this early. We could've went with Silverpool or Skypelt. She wraapped her tail around herself, to see what she could do.

sparklepaw heard her mentors commands and did as she was told she crouched down the grass almost covering her whole body she was light on her feet her head was covered and she looked at her mentor though the grass and pounced on her tail "how was that, for the first time" sparklepaw asked her mentor with a purr

Sunberry moved her tail over before the apprentice got to her tail. ' Try to be more silent, but good. ' She meowed, half purred. She enjoyed this peppy apprentice. The apprentice even looked a bit like her. Her ears turned backwards as she heard a mouse. She slowly flicked her tail to it, telling her apprentice to practice.

sparklekit crouched and lightly and softly stepped forward and she was less then a few steps away when she jumped on it and it was moving in her paws and he put the tail in her mouth "what do i do with it" sparklekit said with a mouth full of wiggling mouse

Sunberry

Sunberry felt so stupid. She should have told her apprentice how to kill it. She waited a secound, then took the mouse from her apprentice's mouth. She gave the mouse a killing bit, and dropped it at Sparlepaw's paws. ' I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you about the killing bite. You can eat the mouse while I explain. ' Sunberry meowed. She stepped back from the mouse and sat down, curling her tail around herself. ' It's pretty simple. All you do it bit your prey around the neck. But you might need to damage the wings on a bird to make it easier to kill them. ' Her eyes were drawn to a black bird. She stalked up to it and leapt, quickly getting to the bird. She killed it before it could make a sound, then dropped it by her apprentice. ' When you're done with your mouse bring that to the fresh-kill pile back at camp. ' SUnberry meowed before jumping off the branch she was perched on and running back to camp.
