Firekit walked out of the nusery and jumped up and down as sunheart walked the the camp entrance sunheart was takeing care of firekit cause he found him wandering threw the forest and took him in sunheart grunted and went to his den to sleep with his head down firekit went into the nursery and curled up to go to sleep

Sunheart looked up from her nap and walked out of the warriros den. She yawned. "Hi, Fireclaw." she said to her brother.
Fireclaw looked up from where he was eatting,"Hi Sunheart." he mewed

Eagleclaw trotted back into camp empty pawwed. Lashing his tail with frustration the dark warrior made his way across the clearing. Once again he had lost patience with the prey and lost another easy catch. Fuming, he hardly noticed any clanmates around as he paced to try to calm himself, thoughts racing. Finally, the tom chose a shaded spot with a view of the whole camp and sat dejectedly, amber eyes clouding with flustered frustration.

Sunheart looked up from talking to her brother and saw Eagleclaw. She walked over to him, "Hi Eagleclaw." she mewed in her song-like voice. He was mad and she knew it.

Eagleclaw hardly twitched an whisker. "Hi" he grumbled. Then the voice registered in his mind.
"Oh, Sunheart." he said, softening his voice to a gentler, layered mew. "Sorry, can I help you?" What did she want? Eagleclaw's curiosity was piqued.

Sunheart jumped when Eagleclaw grumbled at her like that. "I was just wondering what was wrong." she mewed, "I am sorry if I bothered you." she meowed and turned around from Eagleclaw and started to walk a few tail lengths.

"Wait" Eagleclaw mewed. Oh he'd done it now, gone and hurt her feelings. "There's no excuse for my snapping at a clanmate." He trotted around in front of her. "I did have a bad hunt but the clan should come first. Please accept my appology." Lowering his head, he attempted a bow.

Sunheart stopped, "I forgive you." she mewed. It was hard trying to be mean to Eagleclaw. "Just don't let my brother know that you grumbled at me." she teased.

Eagleclaw was almost taken aback by the quick transition from snippy to teasing. "Thanks... But really," he mewed, whiskers askew, "I 'grumbled' at you. If you had wanted to I'm sure you could have clawed my ears off. What's Fireclaw got anything to do with it?"

Sunheart looked over Eagleclaw's shoulder and whispered, "He hates it when I get my feelings hurt. He is to protective about me, and yet Sandtail is the one to worry about." she mewed, "And no, I wouldn't want to claw your ears off." her gold eyes shining.
Fireclaw looked over to where his sister and Eagleclaw were talking, Why do they talk so much? he wondered. IT was weird from him to see his sister like that.

Eagleclaw let out a small purr. "Well that's good. At least I don't have to worry about my ears." Amber eyes half lidded, he thought for a moment. He usually didn't talk this much to anyone. All the jaw work was starting to make him withdraw and observe more... Like those shining golden eyes. Eagleclaw didn't yet know just how comfortable he was with that.
"Look, it's been a long morning and I think I'd better have a quick nap. What with Leafkit's disappearance we all have to be in top form." Hopefully, Sunheart wouldn't feel like she was being shrugged off. This friendliness with other cats stuff was harder than it looked.
With that he walked stiffly to the warrior's den and curled up in his nest. But sleep was hard in coming. Something kept nagging at him as he tossed and turned in the soft moss.

It wasn't long before Eagleclaw gave up in his attempts at sleep. It wasn't until he had successfully slunk his way back to the river that he began to relax once more.
