Scourgepaw

Scourgepaw plodded through the camp clearing toward the fresh-kill pile. Scourge had told him to try to have Starpaw join their cause. He hoped it wouldn't be hard. He sighed. She was the only cat who trusted him. Even though trying to earn the others' trust was a lost cause, he would still act the same as he did before. There was no point in changing.

The young apprentice looked around camp, wondering where the she-cat was. He quickly picked up a mouse to snack on while waiting.

Silvermyst stood from her spot in the shde ad began to wlk to the fresh-kill pile.
"Hi Scourgeaw" she purred.

He glanced up at Silvermist's arrival. Between bites of the mouse, he mewed, "Hi." Scourgepaw paused. "Do you where Starpaw is? I have to ask her something."

Scourgepaw blinked, surprised by the sudden question. "I...erm..." he hesitated, uncomfortable. He looked over at the older cat. She had silver fur, so it wouldn't be easy to see any white hairs anyway. "No," he answered truthfully.
