Well she wouldn't know just staring at the wall. Dawnstar turned around, and tried to act kind and calm. ' Yes Nightpaw, what is it? ' Dawnstar meowed, trying to calm her.

Dawnstar was taken aback. How could she have been so blind? Of corse Silverclaw wasn't teaching her anything. He's been sitting in camp all day ordering Nightpaw around. ' I will see to you getting a new mentor. ' Dawnstar meowed, and licked the she-cat's head. ' Now go and get a piece of fresh-kill, and go to the apprentices den to rest. I'll handle it.' Dawnstar meowed kindly, trying to think of a new mentor.

*Nightpaw nodded nervously. She hoped that she hadn't gotten Silverclaw into too much trouble.* Yes Dawnstar... *Nightpaw nodded again, then turned and quickly left Dawnstar's den. The great leader, though her hero, still intimidated her. To be truthful, it had taken all of her nerve, and her friends pushing to tell Dawnstar, and she was still terrified that she would mess up and make a fool of herself in front of Moonclan's leader.*
