Just a little bit more {Darkpaw}

Darkchaos was walking rather quickly into an open grass area he knew off. Okay, so most of Earthclan's territory was grass lands, a few shrubs here and there. But it also had things like ditches, and rocks, stuff that could mess up a train session. And as a perfectionist, he wanted this training to go smoothly. He stopped, sniffed the air quickly then sat down. A stale scent of Earthclan cats lingered in his nose, but other than that nothing strange. Always a good sign. He was smiling faintly and flicking his tail.

It was a nice day, the sun hung in the sky. It was bright and clear, not a cloud in site. He noticed a faint breeze, it was swaying the grass in front of him, even pushing against his fur. The ground was nice a moist, his claws slid right in and then came out with out much dirt on it. He let out a sigh, not one of sadness, but rather satisfactory and waited. His apprentice was a little late, Darkchaos did rush out after the ceremony, calling behind him for his apprentice to meet him in the field in a tad. But she seemed rather interested in training, something Darkchaos didn't expect from her. But cats change right?

He was mental running through his plan as he counted the seconds pass. He would do over rules first, then he would have her practice training. Just some basic fighting techniques, like the slid, or the duck and run. Something that would come in handy for fights, till she got better. an maybe more advance skills, but wasn't he getting ahead of himself. He still need to teach her the rules. Like no border crossing, or no eating prey when hunting. Simple things, like the warrior code, but maybe he would add some new stuff. "Like, uh, no fighting?" he thought to himself, coming up with a dead end. Ever apprentice got into a fight, it was like the code of conduct. Get into a fight, and then you become a successful apprentice. Maybe he would ask her what she wanted to do.

*Darkpaw barely heard what Darkchaos had said. She quickly quessed where she was to go, and followed Darkchaos's scent to find him. She stayed low in the bushes. She slowly crept up as close to Darkchaos as the cover would allow. Then, she pounced. She flew out into the open, landing several tail lengths away from Darkchaos. She looked around, her eyes wide, her claws unsheathed, her tail flicking around.*

Darkchaos turned his gaze on his apprentice, A pathetic attempt to pounce on him clearly, but maybe he should give her props. He didn't hear her when she in the bush, or at least some of the times. She could get really good at that. "Good job I suppose." he said breaking the silence. He didn't want to complement her, she could have done so much better. She could have successfully pounce on him, but she was only a beginning. "What do you want to start with?" he asked her.

You suppose? I wasn't trying to pounce on you, if thats what you thought. *Darkpaw sat, closed her eyes, and licked her paw nonchalantly. After a moment, she opened her eyes and put her paw down.* Well, I figured you would want to lecture me on something. *He is not as horrible as I thought he would be. Darkpaw thought smugly. She sighed.* Every other warrior seems to want to lecture me...

*Then, she layed her ears down flat on her head. when the wind shifted. She stood up, and looked around.* I smell loner scent! *Darkpaw unsheathed her claws, flexing them, and trying to look as menacing as she could.*

Darkchaos was nodding every so often as he listened to her go on about lectures. "Well you are going to have to.." he started to say as he himself smelled a loner. It was a quick scent like it was stale, a loner who had already been there. He knew though, loners hide, masking their own scent. His apprentice chipped in about the loner too. That made him chuckle a bit. "Don't worry about it, if it shows it face, I will beat him down." he told her reassuringly. She looked like she wanted to fight, and give that loner a quick slap or too.

"But anyways, we you need to do is follow the warrior code." Darkchaos said with a nod. Maybe he could get the loner out of his head, he must definitely did not want to bring Darkpaw into danger. "So recite the warrior code to me." Her first task, how would she do.

But what about the loner? He could be stealing Earthclan prey, right out from under out noses! *Darkpaw inhaled deeply and smelled the loner still. She was surprised that he hadn't questioned what she smelled, even if he smelled it too. She dug in the dirt with her unsheathed claws. Her eyes narrowed, in a challenging way.* I would have thought you would want to test my tracking skills.
