Kits! (Closed)

(Note that this is from when EC didn't have a medicine cat. The cats allowed are Fieryheart, Mysticpaw, Whirlclaw, and Finchpaw.)

Mysticpaw smiled as Whirlclaw ate the poppy seeds she gave her. "Try as hard as you can to stay calm. We don't want the kits to get hurt." she mewed, showing no sign of fear.

Whirlclaw breathed deeply as a pain came but it wasn't as bad as the others thanks to the poppy seed. She looked at Mysticpaw and nodded. "I will try." she said. "If my kits get hurt, I wouldn't know what to do." Whirlclaw chuckled a bit and layed her head down. She didn't understand why Mysticpaw wasn't afraid, Whirlclaw sure was! She breathed in deeply as another pain came and she relaxed when it went away.

Mysticpaw nodded. "Angelpaw and Flowerclaw had kits just recently." she mewed. "One of them almost dieduntil I saved it." she added, remembering the green goo that shot out of it's nose. She began to look through Miracleweaver's herbs, trying to find all the ones she used on Flowerclaw and Angelpaw.

Whirlclaw smiled. "How sweet!" she said, watching the FrostClan cat. She wasn't scared, it was a Medicine Cat Apprentice and they were nothing to be scared of because they were there to help. Whirlclaw yowled alittle at the next pain. She winced at the pain and knew that a kit would be coming soon. Whirlclaw felt another pain and pushed.

The kit was a small bundle and it was a light black color with slight stripes across it. She wasn't sure what she would name her kits, Whirlclaw would wait until Stonefeather was able to see her and the kits.

Mysticpaw purred. She turned to see the little kit. "Good job, Whirlclaw." she mewed. She nudged it, hoping she could get it to mew. It looked healthy, but just like Angelpaw's kit, you could never be so sure.

Whirlclaw smiled. "Thank you." she purred. She saw the kit being nudged and as it looked up helplessly and mewed, Whirlclaw laughed in amusement. Whirlclaw licked her kit lovingly and then shot back up to let another yowl out. She was panting heavily and it wasn't helping so much with the birthing. The she-cat winced at another pain and breathed in, pushing as she let the breath out.
--Hrm Hrm Hrm Lol--
Whirlclaw was looking at the kit from the side of her eye. She had laid down because she was feeling light-headed. The next kit was a light brownish color with black specks hidden into the coat. Whirlclaw smiled and laid back down with a moan. She was feeling very very light-headed and she looked at Mysticpaw for help.

Mysticpaw rushed over to the herbs and grabbed some, then rushed back over to Whirlclaw with a pile. She set down a pile of lavender, and it's sweet scent filled the den. She nudged a leaf with a thick juice on it. "Drink this. It's ivy juice- Itll help you stay calm. Also, eat this." she mewed, also nudging some ash tree seeds to Whirlclaw.

Whirlclaw sniffed the den and she smiled at the scent of lavender. She looked at the pile in a curious way but she didn't have time to question really. She looked at Mysticpaw when she said to drink the ivy juice, she lapped it up quickly then glanced at the herbs that were nudged to her. She nodded and sighed, chewing and swallowing the herbs. She sighed and layed back down, looking up every once in awhile to look at her kits. She felt another pain and winced. Whirlclaw flicked her tail nonchanonatly(sp). The she-cat closed her eyes to take in the lavender scent then shot them right back open to let out a yowl.

Mysticpaw flinched when she heard Whirlclaw yowl. "Its ok Whimrlclaw, just stay as calm as possible." she mewed. She pushed some Poppy seeds over to Whirlclaw and smiled.

Whirlclaw breathed in deeply. Taking small bites of the poppy seeds. Couldn't too many poppy seeds hurt me? Whirlclaw thought. "What happenes if I eat too many poppy seeds?" she pondered looking towards the young cat but then she winced at another pain. She breathed in deeply and pushed once more.
--Dadadadaaaaaaaaa--
The next kit was very small and slightly skimpy. Whirlclaw knew it was going to be okay though, she reached over and licked the kit making it mew in response. The kit had a black-ish under coat with light brown tabby stripes.

Mysticpaw smiled at the small kit. "All the poppy seeds do is make you sleepy and get rid of pain. That's why I grabbed some Jinab." she mewed, looking over at the small pile of jinab she grabbed.

Whirlclaw shrugged. "Oh, okay." she purred. Whirlclaw looked at the Jinab herb and let out a yawn, she shook herself slightly to wake up. Whirlclaw yowled in pain and pushed again.

Whirlclaw breathed heavily and watched the little kit stumble around hopelessly. She felt another pain and yowled again, pushing again. Another kit. The two were close together and the contractions hurt worse than the others. The she-cat noticed the kit wasn't moving around. "Mysticpaw...?" she asked for help. Whirlclaw looked at the apprentice and then back to the kit who wasn't moving nor did it show any sign of breathing.

Mysticpaw nudged the kit, just as she had Angelpaw's, hoping she would see green goo come from it's nose, or something else good.
