Fieryheart: Deputy of EarthClan


Fieryheart cleared her throat and looked at Softkit, her apprentice. "Were going to hold off for right now, Softkit." she whispered as she leaned her head down to the young cat. "After all of this, we will continue." Fieryheart purred and smiled at Softkit. She was willing to get her apprentice quickly, but it could wait. The she-cat turned her attention back to the commotion.

Whirlclaw, Stonefeather, Darkstorm, and Mysticpaw all circled together. Fieryheart's face had an expression of worry and concern glued to it. She watched Whirlclaw the most, then to her mate Stonefeather. Fieryheart heard Darkstorm talking to the young Eaglekit. "You are right, Darkstorm. But he will learn, he must learn to become a good Warrior." the she-cat glanced at Eaglekit and smiled a warm smile.

Fieryheart noticed the apprentice, Finchpaw, away from Mysticpaw. She had realized the meetings but she hadn't said anything. Just love, she thought Love that will soon be apart if they keep this up. Fieryheart chuckled at Finchpaw. She padded towards the group of cats and stood beside Mysticpaw. "Should she really have her kits out here in the clearing?" Fieryheart whispered to her. It would be quite embarassing and no Queen would really like that. Fieryheart looked over Whirlclaw, examining her swollen stomach. Yeah. I think she's supposed to be having them anyway today but because of the shock she will be having them a bit earlier. Fieryheart thought. She was sure that was it and it bothered her a bit. Fieryheart looked for Pantherstrike, backing a few pawsteps away from the group.

Whirlclaw: Queen of EarthClan


Whirlclaw glanced at all the cats around her. Her eyes were wide with worry and fright. She looked at Stonefeather and smiled. He was going to be a father, Whirlclaw hoped that everything would be okay and nothing bad would happen. But it wasn't impossible for something bad to happen. Whirlclaw winced at another pain in her stomach and she flicked her tail restlessly.

The she-cat heard slight whispers but it didn't bother her. She just kept on wondering about her kits and herself. Whirlclaw looked at Stonefeather and scooted towards him, leaning her head to his chest. She nudged him and smiled to him. Whirlclaw winced again but this pain was more breath taking and had more pain following it. She let out a yowl and place her head to the ground, she was embarassed by her actions in the clearing. The she-cat's ears were pressed to her head and her tail flicked around in a response to the pain.

Softkit nodded, and stepped back with the rest of her siblings and pouted. Of course my apprenticeship is delayed. I think I'm more important then any problem some cat might have. she thought angrily. She wouldn't complain out loud, for getting in trouble would just ruin her reputation, and of course she couldn't have that. "Oh well. New kits! Oh how grand!" she mewed excitedly, quickly forgetting about her apprenticeship being delayed.

Mysticpaw looked over at Finchpoaw once she saw him. Maybe he didnt see her? No. That wasnt it. There was a hint on annoyance in his eyes. She could tell by the look on his face that he thought she was taking advantage over EarthClan's empty Medicine Cat den. She shook the thought from her head, but it came back differently. Did he really think she was trying to take advantage over EarthClan, when all she was going to do was ask for help? She sighed silently and tuned to Fieryheart, nodding. She turned to Whirlclaw, who was in alot of pain. "Would you like to move inside of Miracleweaver's den? If we go there then I wont have to leave you alone to get herbs." she mewed. She helped Whirlclaw back to her feet, hoping her question wouldnt scare the shecat.

Finchpaw

Catching a glimpse of the deputy's knowing expression, the young tom felt his stomach churn with worry. Does she know? She can't know! Our meetings couldn't have remained secret for that long without her noticing. But she only saw us once! Thoughts of denial raced through his mind, and though he had only see it for a few seconds, it did nothing to soothe his jumpy nerves. Finchpaw swallowed hard, risking one swift glance towards Mysticpaw's direction.

All he could see was the back of her cream colored pelt as the medicine cat apprentice prepared to guide Whirlclaw to the medicine cat den. Whirlclaw! Shaken out of his nervous stupor, Finchpaw turned his attention to the pained queen. The apprentice felt a twinge of discomfort at having to witness it. I'm not a medicine cat, I don't really have to watch, do I?

Fieryheart glanced between Mysticpaw and Finchpaw. She knew but she wasn't going to say anything. Just let them have their moment with it. she thought. The two cats would probabley never be able to see eachother if Fieryheart said something to the both of them. Fieryheart shook herself and turned her attention to Whirlclaw, not noticing the glance from Finchpaw to Mysticpaw. Fieryheart stood where she was.


Whirlclaw: Queen of EarthClan


The Queen stood painfully up with Mysticpaw's help. Her legs wobbled slightly but she continued to move. Whirlclaw winced back and stopped as another pain hit her like lightning. She looked back at Stonefeather and smiled weakly. Whirlclaw saw Finchpaw's expression but she looked back towards the Medicine Cat den. She sighed, she wanted to get it over with so that she wouldn't have to go through all the pain. Whirlclaw yowled once more in response to the stinging pain and shook herself, in which the shaking made her legs go out but she still had enough strength to get up and continue walking.

Stonefeather nodded as Whirlclaw looked at him.

Mysticpaw smiled at Whirlclaw and slowly led her into the den, flicking her tail in hopes that Finchpaw would follow so she could tell him what Oceanstar said. She purred as she tried to help Whirlclaw lay down, trying to comfort her. She walked over to the herbs and grabbed some poppy seeds, and stuck her paw out to Whirlclaw. "Eat these, they'll help." she mewed.

Pantherstrike

Pantherstrike had been lost in his own thoughts, away from reality, so he didn't realize Whirlclaw was in labor - well, close to it, anyways. But finally, he snapped back into reality to feel the burning eyes on him again. Fieryheart's gaze... he whispered. The black tom got up and stretched, noticing Whirlclaw now, getting up and moving away. He was left with a confused look on his face. Now the tom let his large paws carry him over to the one he loved. What is it? You keep looking at me, he meowed. And what's up with Whirlclaw? he added, glancing back over his shoulder to spot the she-cat.

Whirlclaw layed down into the Medicine Cat den. She looked at Mysticpaw who wanted Finchpaw to come but she didn't know if that was it. Mysticpaw was handing her some poppy seeds. Whirlclaw grabbed the poppy seeds from the apprentice's paw and ate them slowly, a look of disgust filling her face. She layed down on her side and just waited.

Fieryheart watched as Whirlclaw was lead into the Medicine Cat den. She smiled as she thought of kits running around, even though there was already a few running around still. She glanced back at Pantherstrike and noticed his confused expression. Apparently he wasn't watching any of the commotion. Fieryheart sighed and watched as he got up and moved towards her.

She snorted at his comment. "I can't look at you, Pantherstrike?" Fieryheart winced at her own words and looked away towards the Medicine Cat den. The she-cat sighed. "Eaglekit was cheering for Twistpaw and Bramblepaw, it shocked Whirlclaw. Which shocked the kits and they might come earlier than expected, they were expected to come later." Fieryheart explained it all to him. She looked at Pantherstrike and smiled.

Pantherstrike

Pantherstrike placed a disgusted look on his face when Fieryheart snorted and shot a rude comment at him. He had been getting rather emotional and sensitive lately. Well...no...you can.. he murmured. Do you think she's going to be okay? he asked, trying to change the subject. The black tom smiled warmly back at the deputy -soon to be leader- and twined his tail with hers. I.. I, oh nevermind! he growled in fustration. He wanted to tell her something, something he meant, something that was true, but he just couldn't for some reason.

Fieryheart flattened her ears in an offened way but her stance was defensive. She would give him a clear warning to not mess with her, her love or not her love she would. The she-cat nodded then sighed. "Yes, she'll be okay." Fieryheart purred deeply to the tom. Fieryheart purred deeper as Pantherstrike twined his tail with hers. She was shocked by his growl. Fieryheart flattened her ears. "Pantherstrike, what is it?" she asked with a concerned tone.

Pantherstrike sighed, eyes darkening slowly. It's not you, it's me. I just can't say how I feel about you.. he meowed. It's nothing bad. It's all great. You're great, he purred giving her a quick lick on the fore-head. I just need to gather myself up and find the right time to tell you... I love you, Fieryheart... Why couldn't he say that? It was all true!

Bearkit growled. His tail tip twitched backand forth. He had waited for this moment for a long time and now a queen ended up interrupting it. He scraped his claws against the earth.

Rockjaw was a bit confused about everything. He wasn't completely sure what was going on. He looked over at Bearkit, wondering if that was his new apprentice...
