Poisonkit

Poisonkit slowed as the small brown form of a rabbit came into view. He dropped into a crouch and slid forward. Suddenly, the rabbit bolted. Poisonkit lept to his paws and ran after in, black paws stretching as far as they could. He took a leap, and crashed to the ground right where the rabbit was. I got it! I got th- he stopped. The rabbit squirmed underneath him, and slid free. "Foxdung...It smells like FrostClan here! Maybe they were on our territory!" he growled. Or maybe i crossed into their territory... he thought, noticing the ground ws marshy underpaw. There's no marsh in EarthClan...is there? suddenly, he could hear Ripplekit calling him. A twig cracked deeper into the marsh, and Poisonkit gasped. M-Maybe it was just the rabbit... he thought hopefully. Slowly, he began creeping backwords, hoping he'd find Ripplekit.

Ripplekit whimpered. The stench of FrostClan engulfed and she shivered. She swayed, then stumbled and bumped into a big tree.

Then a acorn fell from the tree and landed next to Ripplekit, she jumped and shrieked loudly. A bush rustled as a large creature flashed out it and sent a large rock flying. Ripplekit watched it with wide eyes at the rock flew then landed on her head.

Swaying again, Ripplekit fell unconscience. Then landed with a thud to the ground.

Poisonkit

Tiny black paws were placed carefully, and Poisonkit spun around and ran. Suddenly, the ground beneath his paws broke away, and he plunged into murky, cold water. Scrambling out, he growled at the water and shook himself. Suddenly, his eyes fell on the limp form of Ripplekit. "Ripplekit! Ripplekit get up! Come on, we've gotta get out of FrostClan territory!" he mewed, prodding Ripplekit with his paw. Oh StarClan, help her be okay! his silent plea was sent to the ancient warriors that he never really cared about. Suddenly, the stench of FrostClan grew stronger, and pawsteps echoed in his ears. Oh no! he thoguht as a black and white apprentice broke out of the bushes. 'EarthClan! What are you doing in FrostCaln's territory?' the tom growled. Poisonkit took a step back. The apprentice couldn't be more then 2 moons older then him, and Poisonkit didn't see him as a threat. He hissed and stood by Ripplekit, ready to defend his friend if the apprentice attacked. "It's no business of yours why we're here" he growled.

Ripplekit danced and twirled after a beautiful butterfly down a green grass hill. The sky was blue and it wasnt cloudy.

Suddenly mist ungulfed Ripplekit and thunder boomed above. then lightning flash no more 5 fox lengths infront of her. The ground shook beneath Ripplekits paws knocking her over. She scrambled to her feet, and dashed. She didnt know where she was going, but she felt she had to go that way. So she did.

Not long the smell of wet cat and Poisonkit hit her. "POISONKIT!" she voice cracked despratly, but the thunder and lightning covered her voice. She couldnt see much becuase of the mist and couldnt hear anything. She gasped for air..

Ripplekit jolted out of sleep."Whaa?!" she shot forward not think and stopped right infront of a Frsot Clan cat. "Uh-oh" she whimpered. Then she threw her fierce face on, lowered her head, sent her ears back and the fur oh her tail and flank rose while a hiss exscaped her mouth."You're out numbered! Let us leave now or you might be sent crying to your Mama all black white and red!" she snarled.

Poisonkit

Poisonkit gave a quick sigh of relief as Ripplekit regained consciousness. He gave Twisterpaw his 'glare of death', and growled darkly. "Precisely. So basically, you have a choice. You can let us go now and no one gets hurt, or, you can stay here and get you ears clawed off!" he hissed. Wow...for such a calm cat, Ripplekit can be fierce! he thought, a bit surprised at the kind little she-cats ferociousness.

Twisterpaw

Twisterpaw chuckled slyly. "Oh how scary, two puny little kits trying to warn me off! Well it's not gonna work! i'm going to make sure your leader knows you were here." he growled.

((Gaaahhh! So...brain dead....

Ripplekit snarled and spat at the apprentice! Ripplekit was an apprentices age, she isnt a puny kit and shouldnt be antagonized as such.
She threw a paw, claws extended to thier fullest, and lashed out at Twistpaws face. She jumped back at the same time pulling her claws from Twistpaws reach. Ripplekit was avioding a counterattack.
"We've gotta get out here.." she whispered to Poisonpaw too low for Twistpaw to hear.
She wanted to get out of here without a scratch. She was having fun with Poisonpaw and didnt want to have to go back becuase of a cut a mousebrained apprentice gave her. Plus, the queens might freak and yell at them if they found out about this.
A EarthClan scent caught her attention. Huh?, she wasnt too sure which way to go, but maybe scent can get her. The smell of her lovly EarthClan.
"This way!" she muttered turning and dashing off.

Poisonkit

Poisonkit nodded in agreement, though he wasn't sure if they could. He sure didn't want Ashfire finding out, or she'd keep an even closer eye on him then already did. just wait till I'm an apprentice...then I'll be able to rip this FrostClan scum to shreds! he thought, picturing himself as the strongest cat in the forest. But this is no time for daydreaming. he scolded himself. As Ripplekit dashed off, he gave Twisterpaw one last glare and hiss, and sprinted after her.

Twisterpaw

Twisterpaw growled angrily as Ripplekit's claws slashed across his nose. He could almost feel the blood oozing from the scratches. "Gah! EarthClan! I suppose there's no point in going after them right now." he spat angrily, and spun around and headed back towards FrostClan camp.

Ripplekit glanced back looking for Poisontkit. When she saw his striding, pushing his legs, running with her. To her. She smilled, her heart skipped a beat. HEY! She scholded herself. She is only a kit. Just a crush...

She burst through a small bush, EarthCLans scent ungulfing her. Ripplekit skidded to a hault, panting."What a rush!!!" she shouted, over what she thought was her heart. Adrenaline pulsed trough her veins. She urged to run back and do it again. But she knew she couldnt. Ripplekit closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"That was fun.." she breath, her eyes still closed.

Poisonkit

Poisonkit slowed as he saw Ripplekit stop. He breathed heavily, but a grin stuck on his face. "That was awesome! We sure showed that FrostClan mousebrain what we EarthClan cats are made of!" he agreed, sitting down and smoothing out his wet fur. "I suppose we ought to get back to camp, before the queens go crazy..." he said, though didn't want the fun to end. He liked being alone with Ripplekit, away from rules and watchful eyes. He was free a friend. No...more then a friend. he told himself, realizing he liked Ripplekit as more then a friend. But we're just kits. It'll be gone soon enough. he thought, but didn't want to believe it.

Ripplekit shook her head. "None of those queens are my mom."she meowed, dazed by her wild side."Shouldnt have to listen to them i'll take all the blame."

Ripplekit was having fun and didnt want it to end. She liked spending time with Poisonkit. She didnt want to go back where this would be frowned upon. She liked him, more than a friend.

She ran and tackled Poisonkit meowing quietly to him as she did.
"I like you. I dont want to go back yet!"

Poisonkit

Poisonkit nodded. That was true, Ripplekit had no mother. And he also knew that even if she took the blame, he'd still get in trouble. "Hmfp!" he gasped as Ripplekit's weight hit him. He laughed, batting at her with his paws. "I don't want to go back either. I like you to!" he replied quietly. He didn't know what about Ripplekit drug him out of his deep, dark shell, but whatever it was, he liked it. Dreams of over-ruling all the cats could be shoved away around her, and he could just have some fun. His red eyes shone with something he couldn't explain. He grinned slyly, and threw all his weight forward, hoping to dislodge the larger she-cat.

Ripplekit batted playfully at his ears. She was still laying on top of him as he batted at her " I dont want to go back either! I like you too!" His vioce came at her quietly. It rang in head over and over.
she quickly gave him a lick on the cheek then cat smacked his softly on the should saying " Tag! You're it!" she bounced up and romped backwards away from him. It didnt feel right moving away from like that. Like it hurt, but it made her feel safe. Like there was something about that made himd angerous, but also a part that was like a drug to her.

Poisonkit

Poisonkit's red eyes shone with something he'd never felt before as Ripplekit landed a lick on his black cheek. "Hey!" he protested playfully as Ripplekit batted him on the shoulder then backed away. "Not for long!" he said with a playful growl, bounding over to the she-cat. There's something there that wasn't there when we left... he thought, not even daring to find out what it was. He knew; and he despised it. But he couldn't stop it, not even if he tried. Love was to powerful. And today, he'd proven even the most bitter, ambitious cats could feel it underneath all their hatred an anger. Shoving all those thoughts away, he darted a paw out, hoping to tag Ripplekit.

((Sorry it took me so long to post *slinks away guiltily* I've had a major loss of muse lately...I can post pretty good posts, I just don't enjoy it like I used to. This is the last time I myself will be posting here this month, since I'm going to be gone for three weeks. Salsa may log into my account the week of the 19th though, and post in my threads for me.))
