Dawnsky padded into the orange oaks. Its quite surprising how all the colors of the trees are always red, orange or yellow. It made her think that it was Leaf-fall, even though it was only Green-Leaf. Dawnsky was just strolling along, because she had nothing else to do. Maybe she'll hunt for a mouse or two. Who knows? Well actually Dawnksy didn't feel like hnting mouse, she just felt like strolling. The pretty pale tabby glanced sideways incase any cat would sneek up on her for some reason. Cam down Dawnsky scolded herself.

Palepelt The pale gray tomcat stalked through the undergrowth. He picked up a scent. Sunclan Territory. He thought, looking around. He had come from Moonclan Territory. He had caught a mouse there, and eaten it. The clan cats were nothing to him. not a threat. Just an inconvenience that he would get rid of, sooner or later. He would find a way to take over them. One by one, the clans would become ruled by him. He narrowed his eyes, and stepped forward cautiously. He had been confronted before in clan territory. Clan cats did not take well to "intruders". He opened his mouth to scent the area, hoping to to not scent anything. Unfortuneatly, that was not the way it turned out. he scented a she-cat. Sunclan scent too. A Sunclan She-cat? All alone? I will be able to take her on if she challenges me... The tom thought as he crouched lower and padded through the brush. It wasn't long before he caught sight of her. He stayed quiet, and stayed hidden, watching her. He didn't notice when the breeze shifted, now taking his scent to her.

Dawnsky glanced toward the sky as it was shining brightly, warming her pale brown pelt all over. Dawnsky's light green optics glistened in the sun's rays giiving her eyes a beautiful glare. Dawnsky didn't need the sun's rays to be pretty. She was already pretty. A silence had rippled through the bird's chirp. Not even the sound of leaves rustiling in the wind could be heard now. In this time everything felt nice and calm, like a still clear blue pond.
All the quiet calmness suddenly turned into a worried panic. A scent slowly drifted over to her, a scent that was still cat, but it was not from any clan that reside here. Dawnsky knew it was a loner or a rogue of some sort judging by the scent. It was a tom, of course, but there was something about the smell that made her slightly nervous. Her head whipped around towards the source of the cat smell.
Dawnsky's light green optics narrowed at the sight of the strange tom-cat. Dawnsky opened her jaws to form a small snarl. The SunClan warrior's teeth were sharp and ready to bite into flesh if needed. A low growl came from deep within the she-cat's chest before she spoke. "What..are you doing here!?" Dawnsky growled trying to put as much venom in it as possible. Her neck fur rose up as she turned around completely, ready to kill this intruder.

Palepelt At first, the rogue tomcat was alarmed when he realized that he had been detected. Of course, that feeling passed after a few seconds, and he stood up, revealing himself in the process. He took a few steps out of the cover. He stopped, flexing his claws powerfully into the dirt as he studied the she-cat. You don't need to be defensive with me. I did not come here in search of a fight. He asked, his voice smooth and casual. His plan was to manipulate the she-cat, of course. Since she was a clan cat, perhaps this would be easier to do than with a rogue she-cat. He carefully studied the she-cat. You are a pretty thing, aren't you? He mused out loud, not taking his eyes off of the she-cat for a second.

Dawnsky's neck fur slowly flattened after the tom-cat said he wasn't a threat. "Why thank you." Her cheeks grew slight hot from blushing. All of her sense of fear had melted away. Now she was pretty calm and mellow like she was before. The pretty she-cat gave herself a quick lick, before continuing to study the tom-cat with her refreshing green-eyes. "Who are you?" Dawnsky asked nonchalantly. Dawnsky leaned in to give the tom-cat one curious sniff before her eyes studid him again. He doesn't look like a threat.. Dawnsky saw nothing wrong, or scary with the tom. She just felt at ease as if Dawnsky was in the warriors' den sharing a meal with her friends.

Palepelt
The large tomcat still did not lift his gaze from the Sunclan she-cat. Why thank you. He heard her reply. I only speak the truth. Palepelt answered, of course, the statement was rarely ever true. He needed to get followers, and he would tell her anything to get her to follow him. This she-cat had relaxed faster than he had expected she would. With every passing moment, he was feeling more and more confident that she would be easy for him to manipulate. Who are you? the she-cat asked. My name is Palepelt. And how about yourself?

"My name is Dawnsky. So what brings you here?" The she-cat asked.
OOC: This is probably one of my worst post ever, sorry, really low muse 'cause I'm way too excited because I'm going to a really awesome place tommorow with my cousin. So if i don't post tommorow thats why.

OOC: It's fine. I'm sure we all have days when our muse isn't at its best. Palepelt Dawnsky.... What a pretty name that is... The tom flirted. Of course, he actually thought she was pretty, but he also thought that she was gullible. Very very gullible. He doubted that it would take long before she was wrapped around his paw.
So, what brings you here? He heard the she-cat ask him. his mind raced as he looked at her eyes, her pretty eyes. His eyes showed all the honesty that the rest of him lacked. He pulled his paw up to his mouth, and licked it quickly, trying to make himself look appealing to the she-cat.
I don't have a home, so I wander... Palepelt sighed sadly, a look of pure sadness filling his eyes. The sadness was something that he didn't actually feel. Something that he had never actually felt. He could play with the emotions that showed, though, inside, the only thing he felt was desire. The need for power sometimes became almost too much for him to bear. Emotions were nothing to him, but appearing as if he had them was only a toy, only a tool for him.

Dawnsky purred at his compliment. She liked it when others gave her a compliment. For some reason...Dawnsky just likes it. The pale brown tabby didn't remember a time when no one complimented her. Her light green eyes looked at his face carefully.
There was just something about him that Dawnsky couldn't figure out. Was she in love? Or have she seen his face before? If I did see him, I would have remember him...
A pang of sadness came from Palepelt as he mewed the words. His eyes had portrayed it all. The wonderful eyes of his had real sadness. It made Dawnsky feel down when others were sad or mourning the loss of a warrior. The pretty pale she-cat padded closer to him and touched her nose to his flank. "I'm so sorry."

Palepelt Palepelt noticed Dawnsky's expression change from obvious pleasure at the compliment to something he'd never seen before. It frusterated him becuase it confused him, but he showed no hint of either frusteration or confusion. Then, Dawnsky moved closer to him and touched her nose to his flank.
Just like I thought. She is pretty, but it seems she is not very smart... It does not matter. He studied the pretty clan cat carefully. It was all too easy to get to she-cats. One at a time, and they could be wrapped around his paw in no time at all. Dawnsky must be the most gullible cat I've ever met. Most of the time, there is some shell to break with these she-cats, but it seems that clan life has softened her shell a great deal. He thought smugly.
If I break the clans down from within, then perhaps I'll stand a better chance of being their leader. If one by one they all fall as fast as Dawnsky, then I shall have no problem at all. No problem at all.

Dawnsky moved back from Palepelt. "So whats its like being a rogue?"
OOC; Why can't I think straight?

Palepelt Being a Loner.... Palepelt began, pausing for a moment to think about what he would say before he said it. It's lonely, but I'm used to it since I've been a loner since birth... Palepelt put the "I'm all alone and helpless" look on his face as he thought about what he could tell the she-cat to fool her more. He looked at her, using a look that could make anyone believe that he really cared about what he was talking about. What is life as a clan cat like?

Dawnsky paused to think. It wasn't like that she doesn't trust the tom, but she had completely forgotten that she was in a clan as a warrior for a second. She glanced at the sun which was still high in the sky, but slightly lower than earlier. Her refreshing green eyes shifted from the sky to the tom again. "Well, its great. To put it plainly."
Her stomach growled in hunger and she wanted to hunt. ''Excuse me." Dawnsky mewed. She padded a few mouse lengths away and raised her head. Dawnsky's pink nose sniffed the air for any trace of mice, or vole. Maybe even a pheasant or two. Just then she scented a rabbit. She followed the scent trail to a big fat juicy rabbit near a clump of ferns. Dawnsky instinctively dropped into the hunter's crouch, and began stalking it. Soon she was only a tail length away.
Dawnsky knew she had to act fast before the rabbit scented her. This was one of the very first thing her mentor told her. She could remember it like it was yesterday. Now remember a mouse feels your pawsteps, while a rabbit smells you first. He had told her. With a quick flick of her pale tabby striped tail she leapt. She felt her claws sink into the flesh of the rabbit. Dawnsky sank her teeth into the neck of the rabbit and broke its neck.
She padded back to where Palepelt was and dropped the rabbit in front of his paws. Dawnsky knew she didn't have to bring this back to camp, because she wasn't on a hunting patrol or anything. Besides Sunclan has enough prey to last moons, now that it is Greenleaf. "Want any?"

Palepelt Palepelt only nodded. It must be nice, clan life. Palepelt sighed before the she-cat went off hunting. She returned with a rabbit. Palepelt looked at his paws for a moment after she offered to share with him.
Why of course I'd like to share with you. Thank you. Palepelt nodded again, moving closer and taking a bite of the rabbit. He closed his eyes to savor the taste of the fresh-kill. Since he no longer travelled with other cats, he had been living on crowfood, so Fresh-kill was a delicious change.

Dawnsky laid down to eat her portion of the rabbit. She tore a small chunk off, then chewed it slowly and swallowed. Palepelt. What kind of rogue name is that?. All through ot her life she had never met a rogu or loner with a clan name. Unless.... Unless Palepelt was part of a clan! Well to Dawnsky, it really didn't matter. Who cares if Palepelt was part of a clan? She lowered her head to take a bit off of the rabbit, chewed, then swallowed before thinking. "Palepelt, were you ever part of a clan?"
