(Hi! Ya... I'm new. Lol.)
Sounds of sleeping apprentices echoed around the apprentices den. It was the middle of the night, and the stars twinkled above. In one apprentices dream, no, nightmare. Dog barks echoed to a calico's ears, the sound of a savage attack. The apprentice could see a black and white dog tearing apart a white cat, blood spattering the ground. "Sugarpaw!" The young apprentice yowled, and charged toward the dog. But she never reached them, or got closer. They stayed in place, not running, but always seemed to be out of reach. Hyenapaw awoke with a start, moss shaking off her nest. She panted hard, afraid of the flashback of her sister getting mauled by a dog. Hyenapaw swiftly rose to her feet, careful not to make a sound and awake the other apprentices. She squeezed out of the den and sat in the middle of the camp clearing, gazing above her head at the stars. Are you up there, Sugarpaw, watching me? She thought to herself.
