mistywater was getting a mouse from the pile and all of a sudden the herd something and she smelled a badger "BADGER" she yowled and she ran to the leaders den "dwanstar come out there's a badger out side our camp" she said in a hurry "what should we do"

"NO STUPID! That is just Badgerkit! Why else would we name him that? It's because he has teh sent of a badger. Idiot."

Danwstar's head rose quickly. ' Huh? What? ' Dawnstar meowed. She had been napping when Mistywater had come in. Danwstar leap to her feet and dashed past Slientshadow and Mistywater. A growl rose in her throat. Her claws dug into the soft grass. ' Silentshadow! Guard the nursery! ' Dawnstar hissed and lept for the badger. Her razor sharp claws dug into the badger's fur. Blood splattered for the badger. It wailed in pain. The badger turned around and tried to snap at Dawnstar. But Dawnstar leapt off the badger right in time. Her powerful jaws snatced the badger's leg, and as she bit down the badger struggled to get free. As soon as Dawnstar let go, the badger dashed out of camp, limping badly. Dawnstar turned around to her clan. ' Every patrol must keep watch for a badger. And no apprentice can go out of camp without a warrior. '

mistywater made a smirk at Slientshadow "look who's stupid now'' mistywater said while padding back to her mouse and she took it to her den a began to eat it after she had eaten she thought why don't i have an apprentice like most clans mistywater wondered so she padded out to see her leader and ask her about the apprentice thing "dawnstar I've been wondering why don't i have an apprentice like most medicine cats" mistywater sat down and put her tail over her feet awaiting an answer

Dawnstarwas painting, and her shoulder was cut. ' Bluekit has wanted to be a medicine cat apprentice . . . ' Dawnstar meowed. She couldn't make the announcement now, but she would make one. Dawnstar turned to her brother. ' Silentshadow, could you lead a patrol with Redstorm and Shadowpaw to make sure the badger has left? ' Dawnstar kindly asked her brother.

mistywater looked at dwanstars shoulder "come into my den I'll give you some junniperberry's and clean it up for you" mistywater said in a clam way (((i forget what we use to keep infection's from happening ))) "well ti looks as if you can walk so you should be better in no time"mistywater said "what would we do if it was worse" mistywater said happily

Redstorm just came back from his 'hunt in the moonlight' and saw great comotion in the camp. Warriors were scurrying everywhere and queens were afraid and terrified. He ran into the leader's den, "What is going on?" He saw Silentshadow and the trustworthy medicine cat, Mistywater.

mistywater was in the nursery making sure every thing was good then she went to her den and into her nest and went to sleep and when she woke she checked on dwanstar and make sure she was good and then she went back to her den

Heh, heh, heh. Stupid badger! Silentshadow was staring at the dead animal. Maybe I should dispose of it. Nah! Just throw it in the fresh kill pile! It is just like a mouse, only 100 times bigger! This would feed the whole clan! Silentshadow pulled the giant badger into the fresh kill pile. Then Silentshadow padded up to Dawnstar's den. "Dawnstar I put the badger into the fresh kill pile because it will surely feed the whole clan! But don't worry, I had already checked it for decease, and it was a female badger, pregnant too, so that means that even MORE food will come out of it!"

Dawnstar narrowed her eyes. ' Let me look at it ' Dawnstar said and went to the badger. She cut it opened, pulling out the female badger's children. Dawnstar smelled them, and smelled nothing. She pushed them over to the pile. ' Very well Silentshadow. '

"We won't go hungry tonight! I'm sure every cat will be able to get a bite out of this! And there is nothing in the warrior code that says that you can't have pray bigger than your-self! They are just like mice! Only one-hundred times bigger! i'm gonna try some" Silentshadow padded up to the dead badger Cool, I'll be the first cat EVER to try a badger! Silentshadow took a huge bite out of the animal, there is still alot left! " WOW! This is delicious! C'mon guys! Try it!" Silentshadow headed up his paws, but not enough to form a flame, he set his paws on the badger's chest and started to cook part of it. Then once it was done he unsheathed his claw and started to cut off that part of the female animal. With the pray in his mouth he walked up to Dawnstar's den and dropped it in fromt of her. "Here, I got you this, not you can be the second cat in the forest to tyr badger!"

Dawnstar just padded calmly over. She had tasted badger before. Dawnstar purred at Silentshadow as she brought it to her. She took a bite. ' I'm sure plenty other cats have tasted badger before. ' Dawnstar commented, eating up her piece. Dawnstar curled her tail around herself, trying to keep warm. Dawnstar then got up, doing over to her deputy. ' If you need me Redstorm, I'll be in my den, ' She said. And just then a cold sweep of air came through the clearing, and Dawnstar broke into a run for her den.

OOC: Other clans have not tasted badger before because they had never thought of eating it, and they generally don't happen to kill one IN CAMP! Plus, they ARE heavy!

Silentshadow rolled his eyes. Why was she so urgent to get to her den Silentshadow thought suspiciously...
