Okay, Fieryheart. I'll be back in a flash. He got the freshly killed thrush he had just cought and a tasty little vole. Pantherstrike padded into the nursery and delivered the prey to the queens. He gingerly walked back to Fieryheart waiting by the fresh-kill pile. I'm going to take advantage of the last of the sunlight of the day. he mewed, and walked over into a patch of dim sunlight. The mini panther started giving himself a good cleaning, keeping one eye on the deputy.

Fieryheart nodded and she watched the tom take the thrush to the queens.Why can't deputys and leaders have kits?It is not fair! Fieryheart liked Pantherstrike soo much. But she couldn't just break the warrior code like that,she would either just drop from deputy or she would live without Pantherstrike. Fieryheart couldn't break warrior code. She shook her head slightly and saw Pantherstrike cleaning himself. Fieryheart noticed that he had one eye on her and she sighed. She walked over and sat infront of him. She picked up a paw and licked it a couple of times. "Soo,Pantherstrike.." she said awkwardly.

Why hello again, dear Fieryheart! Pantherstrike partially joked. You know what? I forgot to eat my own fresh-kill. One moment. He hopped up and got himself a rabbit. It was quite big. I'll share with Fieryheart he thought to himself. The black tom dropped it in front of the deputy and made himself thud down beside her. It's big enough for both of us. I thought we could share. he suggested and let a small smile slide across his face.

"Thanks,Pantherstrike." she said when he offered to share the rabbit. She took her share and started to eat slowly. Fieryheart glanced every now and then at Pantherstrike. She caught sight of his eyes and she giggles noticably. She gasped as if she was embarrased of her purring giggle and she looked away,turning half her body away from Pantherstrike. Fieryheart started blushing under her coat.

Sure thing, Fieryheart, he purred. Gingerly, he took a bite out of the rabbit he shared with the deputy. He heard the she-cat giggle, so he decided to flirt. Aw, do I make you giggle by my charms? he purred, joking with a slight smile. He took one last bite of the rabbit and sat back. Closing his eyes, he let the warm rays soak in his fur.

Fieryheart turned back and growled teasingly. Her haunches on her back pricked and she padded Pantherstrike's ear with one sheathed paw. She growled once more and answered Pantherstrike's joking question with a cold voice, "Now,how do you possibley think that?" she giggled again at the sound of her voice and the giggle turned into a yowl of laughter. She didn't like to sound that menacing infront of cats of her Clan, Fieryheart had enough time to do that in battles and such. She flicked Pantherstrike with her tail,flirtaciously and she scooched closer to him. She wasn't going to get too close to him,because she coldn't fall in love could she? Fieryheart had chances that she could but it wasn't going to happen.

Aw hey! he mewed, acting like a kit. He battered the she-cats ears, claws sheathed, and smiled. Oh what fun... he thought. Fieryheart moved closer. He purred, enjoying the time with clan deputy, along with the fading sunlight. It's getting late, the tom sighed.

Fieryheart smiled and flinched fakely when Pantherstrike hit her. Fieryheart giggled then sighed and layed her head down when she looked at the sky. She layed her head down on Pantherstrike's paw and she purred slightly, the purr was a quiet rumble. "Yes,it is." Fieryheart sad,gloomingly. Does it matter if I break the warrior code by having kits?I could let one of the queens in the Nursery take care of them,right? she thought,letting her mind wonder as she kept purring. Fieryheart's large ears twitched sometimes as she listened to Pantherstrike's heart beat,she sighed slightly and lifted her head. Fieryheart gazed into Pantherstrike's eyes and she licked his ear, she layed her head down again and calmed herself while she waited for his reaction to her show of affection.

Pantherstrike saw Fieryheart flinch. I know that wasn't real. he thought, mind swirling with other thoughts. There's always another day, he mewed soothingly after the she-cat laid her head down on one of his paws. Before he knew it, she was licking his ear and laid her head down on the ground. Is it what I think? S-she likes me... Blood roared in his ears. What do I do?! his mind was screaming. He smiled and licked the top of Fieryheart's head. It's time we get some rest, he mewed, looking up at the moon, that was creeping up the sky fast. Pantherstrike got up and started heading for the warriors' den, only looking back to call, Hurry up miss lazy!

Fieryheart sighed,licked one of her paws and drew it over her ruffled ears. "Yes,I know there is. But not one like this..." she said. She stopped fixing her ears after awhile and when she stopped,Pantherstrike had licked her head.WHAT! she thought frantically. Fieryheart flicked her tail flirtaciously but it turned into a flicking of disappointment now that Pantherstrike said that they should both get some rest. She stood slowly after Pantherstrike had and she let out a gigantic yawn. "Yeah,okay.Im lazy!You just watch your back,Pantherstrike." she said teasingly,Fieryheart padded Pantherstrike's back with her paw and laughed alittle. Fieryheart inspected the camp with her eyes and sighed when everything around was okay.

But not one like this, the tom heard. He sat down at the warriors' den enterance and smiled. Right...no other day like this! he mewed. The moon was well...at its peek, and all of the other cats were asleep. The she-cat patted his back whenever she said 'watch your back' and giggled. Nice pun, he mewed, happiness flooding his voice. You know what, Fieryheart? I'm going to sleep under the silvery moonlight tonight, he purred. Pantherstrike stood up and padded back to a patch where a fainted patch of moonlight was sprinkled on. He lie down, getting comfortable, and patiently waited to see if Fieryheart would take rest beside him.

Fieryheart purred and narrowed her eyes,she peeked into the Warriors' den and sighed of relief that no one was awake. Any warrior that was awake could go and report the actions of Fieryheart and Pantherstrike to Brackenstar. She whipped her head out of the den, "Thanks!" she said after Pantherstrike had said 'nice pun' to her. Fieryheart purred and nuzzled Pantherstrike,pushing her face into the dark tom's fur. She sniffed in his scent making a note of it then Fieryheart pulled away. When Pantherstrike had gone to lie down in the moonlight, she purred and giggled. I know what you are trying to do! she thought. Fieryheart slightly shrugged, she padded over to Pantherstrike and layed down with him. Fieryheart slightly made her tail twine with Pantherstrike's, she purred softly and looked at Pantherstrike with dazzling eyes.

Just what I expected from ol Fieryheart, he thought. He purred when the she-cat lie down beside him. Her aqua eyes amazed him. Pantherstrike let out a smile, and licked her head. The tom let his throat rumble with purrs. He silently waited for the deputy's reaction.

Fieryheart purred under his lick and she blushed brightly and noticably under her fur. She blinked her eyes flirtaciously at Pantherstrike and she let out a deep purr of amusement. Fieryheart's ears were against her head, her heart was racing in her chest and her thoughts were swirling around in her mind. Fieryheart thought about what she would do and she decided to play hard to get. Her ears pricked up, she narrowed her eyes and turned her head away. Fieryheart scoffed and smiled, but she made it so that Pantherstrike couldn't see it. I will act like this for awhile and then when he gets tired of it,I will quickly turn around and give him a lick. she thought of her plot to annoy Pantherstrike while he would have no idea. Fieryheart flicked her tail from side to side.

Pantherstrike listened to Fieryheart's purring, and was looking down at her. She blushed quite noticeably. He let out a laugh of amusement. Now this is what weirded him out. One moment the she-cat is being so flirtatious and now she just narrowed her eyes and turned her head away from him. What? Why is she being like this? he wondered a bit fustrated. He snorted at the thought. Great, she's stolen my heart, he noted himself. Pantherstrike lie there, not knowing what to do. Finally, he decided his next move. Gingerly, he got up and moved to the other side of her, laying down and looking into her beautiful blue eyes. Hm? he purred.
