Rainshine

A dark-gray she-cat lead her little kittens through the light woods until she came to the cherry trees. They were beginning to lose their flowers, so it would be quite a beautiful sight she wanted to share with her kits. She felt a slight breeze, and she could scent the sweetness of the cherry blossom. She looked up with her kits around her as she cam3 up to the cherry trees. There was a small hill that fell down into a some-what low valley where all the smaller cherry blossom trees stood. But then a small hill formed at the top that held the main and large cherry blossom tree. It was a wonderful sight, and one she loved. The wind was carrying the cherry blossom's, making a truly beautiful sight. The flowers whirled around her and her kits, and once again she drank in their sweet scent. She looked back at her kits. ' These are the Cherry Blossom trees. Aren't they beautiful? ' She meowed to her kits. By now they were in that small valley, and Rainshine enjoyed every moment of it.

Blazekit

The small golden tom trotted after Rainshine, eyes bright with excitement. It was the first time she took them out of camp, and he was going to enjoy it. Just then, a strange, sweet scent reached him--it wasn't unpleasant, just new. Craning his head to see, he spotted a few pink petals drifting through the air on a soft breeze. What are those? There were only a few of them, but as they padded down a sloping hill, more and more could be seen in the sky and further below. Blazingkit's emerald eyes grew round as the ground gradually flattened, and he saw that the light feathery petals were everywhere.

Several trees dotted the area, and as the wind blew, they seemed to float off of the branches and join the ones already aloft in the air. The scent wreathed around him, and his pawsteps slowed as they drew closer. Wow... The small cat's head turned this way and that, trying to see them all at the same time.

"These are the Cherry Blossom trees. Aren't they beautiful?" It was Rainshine. She seemed entranced by the swirling blossoms. Blazingkit didn't reply, just watched in awe and fascination. It was captivating. Some of them blew past the group, and he reached out a golden paw, batting at one as it drifted by. It was soft and velvety as he pressed it to the grassy ground, taking a closer look. When he took his paw off, it was carried into the air again, like a feather. Turning his attention back to the swirling sky, he let out a sigh.

Harmonykit

The golden she-cat followed her mother into the Light Forest, loving all the new sights. And just as she was coming up to softer grass, the sweetest scent she had ever known filler her nose and mouth. She looked at Rainshine, her mother looked just as amazed as she was. And as they entered the small valley she saw pink petals riding on the breeze. She batted at one, only paying attetion to that one. And at almost once there were millions. She was completely amazed. Harmonykit leapt into the air and the cherry blossoms twriled around her, and as she was in the air she batted at some of them. She landed perfectly beside her mother, but decided her mother was going too slow. Harmonykit raced in front of her mother, and jumped into one of the trees. She climbed the dark brown branch. She looked back at her mother, brothers and sisters. Her mother looked frightened, but she kept climbing until she got to the top. Her head poped up from the top of the tree, and then she jumped down.' That was fun! '

The young kit followed his mother out to the cherry tree. There were filled with life and colors. He watched them in awe, but quickly covered it up. "Their great." He said with sarcasm ringing in his voice. He didn't want the other kits to know he actually thought they were pretty. That was a she-cat thing.

Stormkit

They smell pretty! said a little kit with dazzeling green eyes. He was very out of breath from his first trip outside camp, but he was excited. He left his mothers side to rou around in all the flowers falling off the tree's branches. He crouched down like he saw an apprentice do one, and leapedon afalling flower. He letout a tiny giggle. Come on guys! Come play with me! he squeaked.

Dreamkit smelt the ir with a soft smile. Her small body stretched to cmell the blossoms. She shook her head happily, "They smell pretty momma!" she mewed.
"Come on guys! Come play with me!" Stormkit said, catching Dreamkits attention. She was smaller than the others, but never-the-less, enjoyed playing mouse with the interesting new flowers. She jumped to his side, tail fluffed and back arched.

Blazekit

He glanced at his littermates and mother, leaf-green eyes sparkling. He caught a glimpse of Eaglekit, seeing the awe written all over his face, but then was quickly disguised by a nonchalant expression. The golden furred tom bounded through the grass, tail waving in the air, feeling the soft wind breeze through his pelt, once in awhile pouncing on one particular petal. The cherry blossoms were everywhere, and he could tell all of them were enjoying it. Blazekit suddenly got an idea, and opened his mouth wide. They smell so sweet! Maybe they'll taste even better! He held still, and soon caught a blossom in his mouth. It was soft and smooth, but other than that, the kit quickly spat it out. "Eck!" he choked, spitting and hissing at the strange taste. "It tastes horrible."

[Blue the Bumblebee]

Really? Stormkit meowed. He sniffedoneof the flowers on the ground, and picked it up. It haad a funny taste to it, so he spat it back out. Yucky! You're right!he meowed, trying to get the taste out of his mouth.

Dreamkit watched her two brothers and giggled as the tried to eat the flowers. "We don't eat flowers, silly! Cats eat prey, remember?" she laughed again and toppled over.

The kit watched Stormkit and Blazekit, and fell to the ground laughing. He couldn't believe that he actually tried to eat that flower. Eaglekit wasn't a hard cat to make somone laugh. He knew that. Sometimes, he went over the limit to laughing, but this was too dang funny! He ended with a deep sigh, "Better watch what you put in your mouth, huh Stormkit and Blazekit?"

Yes. but we also eat hearbs when we are sick! So now who is silly? Stormkit retorted. His siblings could be so mean, sometimes.

The golden tom glanced at Eaglekit, flicking his tail dismissively. "Ah, well. They smell pretty good. Besides, at least we're actually paying attention. You're just standing there," he replied. He batted at a few more blossoms as they drifted by. Sometimes a cat just has to explore, he mused.

Eaglekit made a scoffing sound at Blazekit's reply. They were so kitish. Eaglekit didn't know that he was just acting way to mature for his age. It was quite annoying to other, actually. But he didn't care. Who cares what other cats thought about him? Mousedung, he would probably do some rain dance for everyone if they asked him. "Well sorry I don't find trees interesting." He rolled his eyes, as in saying 'and it sad you do'.

Dreamkit glared at Stormkit, "Yeah, we eat herbs. Herbs aren't flowers!" she growled. She was tired of being pushed around because she was small. She then looked at Blazekit, "Curiousity killed the cat!" she chirpped smartly.

Blazekit

A grin crept across the kit's furry face. "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back," the tom declared, emerald eyes gleaming. Waving his tail in the air, he sat down, the dew-covered grass soft under his light weight. "Anyways, what next?"
