The silver leader entered camp, head low to hide her tear-stained face. She knew Eagleheart and Angelpaw would be close behind, and figured she had some explaining to do. I've let my apprentice down...she came here thinking it would be better...and now she's found out that her leader has deep, dark secrets. She probably thinks she was stupid to leave Earthclan now. she thought bitterly, ignoring the questioning glances around her. She knew her clans wondered where she'd been, but she couldn't tell them. She'd simply have to trust Eagleheart and Angelpaw to keep their mouths shut. Silently, she slid into her den, waiting for Eagleheart and Angelpaw to enter, as any cat would that had just found their leader, sleeping on another clans territory, with a warrior from another clan. |

both anglepaw and eagleheart ran to the leaders den "why were you..." anglepaw and eagleheart said at the same time "hey i said that first" eagleheart snapped "NOW why were you on there territory" eagleheart said

Ashclaw
A pale gray tom stepped out of the warriors' den, blue eyes curious as they followed Oceanstar's entrance. He padded towards his leader, quizzical. He watched as Angelpaw and Eagleheart trailed after the she-cat, following her into the leader's den. Ashclaw paused in his steps, even more confused. What's going on? The warrior hurried towards the den, wondering what could possibly be happening.
"...on their territory?" It was Eagleheart, their deputy. Huh? I didn't think trespassing onto another clan's territory was THAT big of a deal. And why would Eagleheart need to talk there as well? Isn't Oceanstar Angelpaw's mentor? Questions swirled in Ashclaw's mind as he paused by the entrance, hidden by the wall. Unless Oceanstar was trespassing...but that's preposterous. She's leader.

Oceanstar shifted her weight nervously. She knew these questions would come. But she'd hoped they wouldn't have. i have to tell them the truth... she thought grimly. "Well you see, I was in MoonClan territory because...um..." she trailed off, suddenly changing her mind. "Because I'd just chased him over, and didn't realize we'd crossed the border. while i was hunting, i found him, sneaking around Frostclan territory. I chased him ove,r then he attacked me. So what looked like as sleeping, was actually him after he'd just rolled me over" she lied swiftly, hoping she wouldn't ahve to answer any more awkwards questions.

eagleheart rolled his eyes then left the two she-cat alone
anglepaw could tell that she was not telling the truth,or a least whole truth "oceanstar tell me what really happened" anglepaw said softly

Oceanstar watched as Eagleheart left. She wasn't sure if he'd fallen fro it, but was simply glad he was leaving it alone for the moment. At Angelpaw's words, she froze. I suppose she has a right to know... she thought, even though she knew well that her deputy ought to know more that her apprentice. "Alright...but, lets go somewhere where unwanted ears won't hear. Maybe we can even do a bit of training while we're out" she replied, knowing full well she hadn't trained her apprentice, and she was now behind in her training. |

(i would say yes, but well.....ashclaw is like 13-15 moons older than her

Ashclaw held his breath as Eagleclaw left the den without noticing him, lurking by the side of the entrance.Oceanstar's story sounded fake, and incredibly improbable. Why is she lying...? Just then, he realized he would be caught if they left the den with him still eavesdropping there. The tom quickly hurried away towards the fresh-kill, still wondering why his leader was being so secretive. They were all part of the same clan--what could she have done that make her lie to her own deputy?
