I sense a friend is near!!! (Wild/Leopard)

The wind whsiteled gently along, as i padded through the startrees. I felt its gentle presence, but i also sensed the presence of a cat...

"Hello?" i asked. no reply. thats odd....i must be imagining things. i decided. I kept padding on. but i still felt like i was being watched. I whiped around snarling.

"WHO IS THERE?! SHOW YOURSELF!!!" i groweled.

Wildpaw

A black shape moved through the trees, dark blue eyes glimmering in the starlight. Just then, he caught a whiff of another cat. MoonClan... Wildpaw broke into a run, eyes narrowed, as he followed the trail. What's a MoonClan cat doing here? Then again, I'm here, too. The apprentice soon spotted another cat farther up ahead. It was a golden she-cat, with black spots dappling her pelt. She looked around the same age as himself.

Curious, he slowed down, and padded slowly after her, keeping the distance between them equal.
"WHO IS THERE?! SHOW YOURSELF!!!" Wildpaw jumped, surprised by the sudden yowl.The tom saw the other cat facing him, hackles raised.

"Calm down," he mewed, amused by the sudden outburst. "Why are you here? It isn't a Gathering."

I saw a cat emerge from the bushes. wildpaw! what is he doing here? i wondered. The fight had completly drained out of me.

"Wildpaw? Hi! What are you doing here? How are you? Its been a while since i've seen you! Im just taking a walk to clear my head. Im sorry i yowled at you! I didnt see you and thats why." I mewed a constant flow of comments. I grinned and sat down looking up at him and waiting for a response.

Wildpaw

"Well...I...I..." he struggled for an answer, stammering. Then he added. "I don't know." His voice and expression was puzzled. "I just came. I'm not supposed to be here thought--this isn't part of SunClan territory." Wildpaw sat down as well, wrapping his tail around his paws. "But I snuck out. It wasn't very hard." The apprentice beamed at her, forgetting for a moment that none of them were supposed to be there.

I blushed abit under my fur. "Very observant Wildpaw!" i laughed. when he looked at me, the starlight seemed to shine on my fur making it glitter. I smiled sweetly and my eyes began to shine.

I was lost in his eyes for a moment but then i snapped back to reality when the wind blew past again.
"Its okay! Atleast we are not in another clan's territory!" i mewed laughing.

Wildpaw

The other cat's simmering fur nearly made him sigh, but he stopped himself. It was just like the time when he had first saw her at the Gathering. His dark blue eyes shone with silent delight, glad he had left the camp. The jet black tom sniffed the air, pretending he was searching for prey, when actually it was to commit Leopardpaw's scent to memory. He didn't want to forget. Wildpaw shuffled his paws, realizing that he had been staring at her.

I giggled. I smiled. "Wildpaw...Why are you staring at me?" i asked my eyes shining like the sun. I blushed a bit under my fur. I wanted to know whethor he did like me or not. I blinked a bit.

I shifted postions so i was sitting closer to him. I "accidently" brushed against him when doing so. "Oh! Sorry!" i mewed.

Wildpaw

The jet black tom looked away quickly, taking an immense interest in a large leaf on the ground. "I wasn't staring at you," he denied.Wildpaw laid down on the grassy fur, and rolled over onto his back, paws sticking up into the air. Then he turned back onto his stomach, trying to think of something to do. Then: "I think I'll go see if I can catch something."

My smile widened. "Can i help? After all" i got up and batted his ear gently "you obviously will need it!" i teased my eyes glinting with mischief. I threw caution to the winds licked his ear gently purring and ran off yoweling: "TRY AND CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!"

His pelt prickled as she licked his ear. It wasn't uncomfortable, and it wasn't weird either. As Leopardpaw ran off, Wildpaw sprang to his paws and dashed after her, blue eyes shining."That won't be too hard," he taunted, gaining speed with each stride. He leaped forward, catching her golden tail between his paws.

I whiped around when he caught my tail. I blushed under my fur. I giggled and knocked him over gently with my paws. "Your fast!" i commented sweetly.

Wildpaw

"Thanks," he mewed, suddenly feeling the need to impress her. He scrambled to his paws after Leopardpaw pushed him over. His ears pricked as a soft scrabbling sound reached his ears. Sure enough, when he scented the air, vole scent washed over him. He shot a grin at Leopardpaw. "Watch this!" With that, he fell into a tight crouch and crept towards the prey--he could see it standing by the base of a tree, unaware of the hunter.

Wildpaw drew closer and closer. Suddenly, he shot forward like a bullet, darting towards it as fast as he could, no longer stalking it as his mentor taught him. The vole attempted to flee, but the black tom scooped it up into the air with a paw. He jumped up into the air as it flew, and caught it in between his forepaws, killing it instantly, before landing back on the ground. Wildpaw looked at Leopardpaw, beaming. I didn't think I could actually catch it. "How was that?"

I beamed. "That was amazing!" i purred. like you... i added silently. Or so i thought. I saw him looking at me. "What?" i asked.

Wildpaw

The apprentice gazed at her, confident. "Thanks. I didn't think I could actually do that," he confessed. Wildpaw picked up the plump vole in his jaws and bounded toward her. Dropping it at her paws, he looked up again, and found himself staring into her amber eyes, speechless. Blinking his own blue ones, he stepped back, dazed. Wow... "Uh...wanna share?" he blurted out, after he remembered how to talk.

I blushed under my fur. "That would be great!" i purred enthusiasticly. oh good going leopardpaw!! i thought sarcastically.

"Uh...I mean...Oh never mind." i muttered. I padded closer and sat down. "Wildpaw...There is something i want to tell you but i dont know how. And im afraid you'll hate me if i tell you or you'll laugh.." i mewed timidly.
