Amber ignored his comment on how 'he wouldn't live long anyways.' There were many possibility's as to what he meant, so she let it slide. "Yes. We really ought to go before our two-legs notice we're leaving." she meowed, and began walking off towards the forest, her nose telling her she was going the right way. She didn't care whether or not they followed. But she hoped they would.
Skittle saw three cats padding away from Twoleg-place. "Wait!" She called aloud to the cats. "Where are you going?" She asked. "If they're going to the forest, I wish to come...," Skittle thought to herself.
(isn't there too many cats already leaviig their twolegs....) Coal
The tortoishell kit flicked his ears, slightly annoyed. There were already enough cats in the small group as it was. From all the stories he'd heard of the wild forest cats, the bigger their group the more suspicion they would attract. He had no wish to be mistaken for some sort of rogue. He didn't have a collar, so he would only attract more suspicion. I don't even know her.Coal stopped in his tracks. "Are you so sure about leaving your Twolegs behind forever? We don't have an eternity."

Amber nodded in agreement to Alyson, and could sense Coal's annoyance. "I believe it would be best for you to stay here, Skittle. The forest is a dangerous place...I should know..." she meowed, the scars on either side of her face reminding her of the grave dangers that were there. 3 was enough for their group. Adding a fourth, might just be to much.
Skittle stifled a low growl, barely audible. "24 moons is not a kit's age," She said to the one called Alyson. She saw the scars on Amber's face, and slightly shivered. "Perhaps I'll go alone?" Skittle suggested.
The tom shifted his paws, not commenting about the 24-moons. He was only 5-moons old, so who who was he to argue about age? But he had his own reasons for going as soon as he could, and he wasn't about to say them. Coal knew he wouldn't live anywhere near the average age of an elderly cat. Not with my...problem... he thought bitterly.
"Perhaps I'll go alone?"
The young cat's red eyes flashed. "That sounds perfect," Coal said aloud. True, he was smaller than the other 3--not to mention a lot younger--and smaller than the most kits his age, but he was going to speak his mind. "Should we get going then?" he asked, turning towards Amber and Allyson.
