Hawkpaw tore at the ground with her claws, kneading it into dust as she vented her rage. She wanted to screech, to yowl her frustration to the winds. "I want to fight!" she hissed. "That's not fair!" Tail lashing, the pale apprentice flattened her ears and let a growl escape from deep in her chest, so deep she felt more than she could hear. Hawkpaw barely realized it when she bit her tongue but the blood washing over the back of her throat only heightened her anger. She lashed out at the closest object, a half eaten mouse, shredding it in seconds. This surprised her. The old Hawkpaw would sit and take whatever was coming, her temper had never flared up like this before. Angry and confused, the apprentice stormed off to the edge of the camp, fur up as though she too were going into battle.

Scarpaw of the Moon
His silver eyes gleamed brightly at the prospect of fighting. The thrill of a real battle...it wasn't something that happened often, and a mere skirmish at the border was far less exciting. And I get to show Dawnstar just what I've learned, too! His pale pelt bristling, a movement caught his eye, and Scarpaw turned to see Hawkpaw hurrying away, fur fluffed, leaving the scattered remains of what he decided was a mouse.
Scarpaw felt a pang of sympathy, feeling bad for his fellow apprentice. She probably wants to fight just as much as I do. SunClan probably won't even get this far. His anticipation faded--at least, he covered it with a veil of solemness, like his name sake. One moment mischievous and rambunctious, the next subdued and serious, like a wound closing. Scarpaw raked his claws against the ground, venting some of his excitement.

.:Summersong:.
A rumble in her belly pushed her towarsd the fresh-kill pile. Hunger pained her stomach as she tried to decide what to eat. There wern't many choices to choose from... Summersong could only see a blackbird, and a pheasant. She decided to pick the black bird instead. Summersong bit into the bird, and tore off a chunk. She decided to savor it, letting the warm tasty juices last longer on her tongue. Then she swallowed. The she-cat bit and tore chunks out a few more times until only a small portion was left.
Summersong gulped the last piece of prey as she heard her leader giving orders. Summersong's tail twiched was today the day of the battle with SunClan that she knew about some how? Whatever. It was just to weird. She had not yet heard a meow of her name. This can mean only onething, she was going to fight head on with Sunclan! Adrenaline pulsed through her veins and into her blood. A snarl of anger rose from her chest. Sunclan will pay!
The chausie she-cat rose to her paws and charged forward, towards where the Sunclanners were. She was running with the speed of a cheetah, going faster than the wind. Summersong's claws tore of chunks of the ground as she ran. There was only thing that made Summersong angrier than a clanmate disobeying orders. That thing was other clans attacking. Summersong could see a couple of cats ahead. She pushed herself to go faster, trying to stay ahead of the group so she could attack first. Her optics spotted a light ginger tom. Better known as Spiritflare, deputy of SunClan. Summersong gave another snarl as she prepared to attack him.
--------------------------------------- Dawnsky~
Dawnsky saw the group of MoonClanners running towards them. A yowl built up on the inside, but it waas not quite strong enough for her to yowl. All the excitement she had before now had vanished. Not a single trace of it was left. What was left was fear and regret that SunClan might lose. Snap out of it! A voice in her head hissed at her. You are acting like a scared little motherless kit! Dawnsky tried to find the courage she had before when she was an apprentince.
The pretty she-cat onced like to fight, and was blood-thirsty. When she got older, she now saw the error of her tyrant ways. The voice in her head that urged her on to bloodshed was her former self, the cat whose paws were always red with others blood. Dawnsky shuddered as she tried to suppress the horrible memory of the innocent lives the pale brown tabby took.
Dawnsky remembered that here was a battle going on. She needed to fight for her clans' sake. No.. Not just her clan. Dawnsky was also fighting to save poor little Leafkit.

Dawnstar The silver she-cat didn't hear Lightningtail, witch would have meant no. She was too busy defending her clan. What was wrong with Inkspell? Nothing. He was perfectly fine. And he was going to do what she told him to. As soon as she spotted the first SunClan cat, witch happened was a worthless apprentice known by Serpentpaw, she made a powerful and high leapt. She easily knocked him off the branch he was on. One SunClanner down.
Her amber eyes searched for the stupid Morningstar. Her eye gleamed with amber hate as she spotted the foolish she-cat. You will pay! She thought. The she-cat crunched to leapt again, and then leapt. She landed on Morningstar with great impact. She tore at the she-cat's fur with razor sharp claws. As she felt blood on her paws, the urge to kill her grew. She tried to fight it off, but it was too hard. She slid off Morningstar, yes, slid , leaving deep wounds on her side.
Dawnstar felt reality strike her for a moment. This fool will just kill me!! Dawnstar, you're such a coward. She turned to Morningstar and let out a wordless hiss. She leapt away, and landed face-to-face with Swiftleap. She growled, and jumped at him. She bowled him over and pinned him down. ' So this is a foolish SunClanner. It's a shame my apprentice is over here. She wanted to study a SunClanner's stupidity so bad. ' She meowed. Her tail lashed back and forth as she stared at him. Her amber eyes burned with a mix of anger and hatred. She felt something else take control of her, and she stepped off him. She had seen something in his eyes, and she felt it take control of her. She crouched to get into a sprit. But before she took off she looked back at Swiftleap, then rushed off into the yowls and screeches.

~Nightpaw~ [/color] ~The she-cat was ready, her fur was prickling with excitement. She didn't want to fight, but it was all a part of clan life. Deal with it. She scolded herself, as her small, lithe black figure padded up to a fellow clanmate, almost automatically. Shadowflame. She took a deep breath, and sighed, stopping close to the warrior, but not close enough that it would be awkward, each movement felt weird, as if she wasn't controlling herself, as if she were moving automatically. Why did she choose to approach Shadowflame? She had no answer, but she shrugged it off.~ I know you won't need it, but good luck Shadowflame. ~And then, she hurried to stand beside Redstorm~

[glow=blue,9,999]Inkspell[/glow]
Inkspell jumped up in a tree, perfectly blended by the darkness. He sat there, waiting. He sighed, for his fear-scent would give him away anyways. "Why couldnt it have been EarthClan that attacked us!?" Inkspell yowled, frusterated.

He was pinned on his back, looking up at the leader in surprise. A hiss ragged through his mouth as he sat himself back up, shaking the blood off of him and eyes ragging with the comment she had made. "We're not the one stealing kits you no good piece of fox dung!" He spat at her. She ran to fight someone else, but Swiftleap wasn't defeated. Anger was his strength, and he was going to use it with power in his claws. He chased after the leader, leaping for her back.

How dare they! He thought at he listened to the orders, acting apon them as if they were his last move. "Consider it DONE!" He yowled in rage. He was actually looking forward if he ran into Swiftleap, since they were rival enemies. Still, he wasn't focusing on getting fur on his claws. He had a task. He walked with his patrol, slipping through the territory, scenting the Sunclan's trail there.
That trail lead them straight to camp. He stopped and ducked, waiting to give the signal before bardging in the camp.

Lightningtail followed Redstorm. He spotted a black siamese-pattern Apprentice. He sheathed his claws, but tried to hold himself back from attacking. He hadnt fought any cat in his life except his father. Suddenly, he couldnt resist. He launched himself at the Apprentice, claws sheathed, and landed on its back. He held on tight, forgetting that the Apprentice could easily roll over and attack him.

It was like a dark cloud, moving closer and closer. Soon, Soulpaw could make out the shape of cats, with Dawnstar in the lead. The ground beneath his paws was destroyed from his anxious tearing. Then, like in slow motion, cats form either side flew threw the air to land on their opponents. For a moment, he was struck with fear as the claws flew. It seemed like forever as he stood there. He barely noticed his brother fall from his perch, when he turned his head to see a shape flying threw the air towards him. He gasped a bit as the weight hit him. And then, a voice seemed to whisper in his ear. Fight. fight for Scourge. Fight like you've never fought before. He seemed to snap back to reality, as the hard, snappy cat desperate for revenge. "Fool. Attacking me is like attacking a badger or fox. It's dangerous." he mewed with a slay grin. He dropped to the ground and rolled form under the larger cat, and like he'd been fighting his whole life, he leaped into the air, landed in a skid on the other side of Lightningtail, then darted under him and tried to knock his legs out form under him. All in one smooth movement.

Lightningtail felt the wind knocked out of him by the Apprentice. "Hey, what harm can an apprentice do? You should be old enough to realize something ... YOUR HISTORY!" yowled Lightningtail. He rolled off of his back and launched himself onto the Apprentice's back again. This time, he rolled himself onto his back, still holding onto Soulpaw. He threw the cat into the air with his hind legs and got up on all fours again.

Smokepaw of MoonClan
The she-cat was startled, stuck in terror as she realized how many cats were, battling to the death for a reason she did not know of. Quickly, she snapped back into reality. Smokepaw noticed Lightningtail in a ruffle with a SunClan apprentice. Soulpaw, she guessed, dashing at them with full force. She pounced at the SunClan cat's pelt, biting and clawing at it. Claw him or something! she screeched at Lightning through muffled fur.
Stormpaw of MoonClan
Stormpaw darted into the massive heap of cats. His claws were already unsheathed, ready to slash any SunClanner that dared lay an eye on him. The blue-gray tom noticed his former love helping his mentor, but decided the two could handle it. Looking around for an opponent, he spotted Wildpaw, a cat he usually seen at the gatherings, sitting with Leopardpaw, his own clanmate. Quickly, he sprang out onto the tom's back and sunk his white, sharp claws into the cat's back.

Soulpaw opened his mouth to reply to Lightningtail's history comment, but not before he was flung into the air, and found himself, yet agian, with a cat on his back. But this one was lighter. With a sly grin, he dropped to the ground and rolled, shaking Smokepaw off. He turned to Lightningtail. "Well then, think about my history, eh? That just makes it even harder for YOU!" He yowled. He now pictured Lightningtail as a huge black cat with blood red eyes. His icy blue eyes shone with a need for revenge. He leaped yet again, this time dragging his unsheathed claws across Lightningtail's back, before making a dive for his throat.

Lightningtail could barely move by the time Soulpaw was slashing at his back. Lightningtail tried to get the apprentice off of his back by jumping around.
