Dawncloud walked to the fresh prey pile. It was fully stocked. She was going to have kits any day now. 'Their has been many queens giving birth to kits in the passed days. Hopefull their will be enough room for me' she thought. She will miss the life of hunting and running but she really wanted kits. She took one bite of her mouse, it tasted really good.

Brackenclaw ordered one of Sleetpads kit back into the Nursery.Then he padded over to the serverely swolen Dawncloud.
So you are going to have kits?
he meowed nuzzling her. He reached down for a mouse and waited for an answer.Or are you just fat from eating to much? he chuckled. |

Dawncloud saw Brackencloud walk up to her. she was hurting a little more today but she has been hurting for awhile. "Hahaha, yes I think I'm going to have kits ... soon." She Suddenly felt a kit from on of the kits. "do you want to feel them?" She took on of Brackenclaws paws and gently set it on her belly. The movement of the kits enjoyed her.

Brackenclaw felt uneasy. He wriggled free. "Thats odd. I'd neve be able to live 3 moons with cats living in me." he meowed awekwardly then smiled. "How do you queens do it?"he wasnt mad. Just a bit odded. He set his paw on the belly and felt a kit kick him.He jumped away surprised. "Eep!"

"Yeah well, you get use to it" Dawncloud meowed. Suddnely she felt a strik of pain. "Oh....i..think i have to go to the Nursery Now!" Yelled Dawncloud. She tried to get up but her legs gave out. "Help me brackenclaw Help me!"

Brackenclaw stood frozen. oh no! He reached his nose down and inched her onto his back and quickly walked to the nursery and set her down on the bed that smelled of her the most. "Everything is going to be okay I'll go get Miracleweaver!" he panted and ran off. |

Dawncloud layed down on the moss. She hurt more every minute. "Oh thanks you!" She meowed weakly to Brackenclaw. She felt her water broke. 'Oh my gosh the kits are coming NOW' she screamed in her head. "Ohh... no " she began to breath very heavy.
