OK, so i was doin some warriors research (lmao!) and i asked a few people on their opinions, and we have come to the theory that...

LEAFPOOL is Lion, Holly, and Jay's mother.
Evidence:
Go to the last few pages of sunrise, you will see that brambleclaw is saying the clan is looking good, and even LEAFPOOL IS LOOKING QUITE PLUMP!
Hollypaw has a black coat just like Crowfeather and Jaypaw has his eyes, and Lionpaw's description fits Leafpools match-for-match.
why do you think Jaypaw was named Jayfeather?
~This also may explain holly(forgot)'s interest in herbs and jayfeather's blindness.

But there is this argument:
Someome would have noticed leafpool growing... but BrambleClaw did notce something... and Leafpool and Crowfeather were not together very long. And Why would Hawkfrost and Tigerstar even bother visiting Lionpaw if they arnent related, and Lionpaw has the same coat and broad shoulders as Brambleclaw.

So either way... the erins have messed up somewhere... unless they wanted to deliberately confuse us. I heard in the C-box that there are 3 Erin's now. Maybe this had something to do with it.

well i agree that leafpool is the real mother
but lionblaze's does NOT fit leafpools at all. and u cant judge hollyleafs interests based on that, and how does that make jayfeather blind? besides it was greenleaf, which meant a lot of prey
however, leafpool had a strangely even closer bond to jayfeather than most mentors hav with their apprentices. this comes up many times in Long Shadows like when leafpool was talking to Spiderleg about his and Daisy's kits. how else would she hav known wut she was talking about?
as for the argument, maybe hawkfrost and tigerstar didnt know. after all, they hav their limits too and leafpool and squirrelflight kept the secret hidden very well

Yeah, and squirrelflight's milk never came, and she didnt really have mother's instinct either. She was out of the nursery alot when the kits were still young

well i think that LIONBAZE is the only son of squirrel, but it could be why in eclipse why tiger/hawk kept douting that lion was ALL special, but i am pretty sure Holly and Jay r kits of leafpool, but I read something else, here, ill post it, oh and BTW I know the name of the 4th series!

because it is possible that hollyleaf is not part of the prophecy at all! because HER powers haven't shown up yet right? it could be this "4th apprentice" that is part of the plot, not holly, i don't even like her, i think that holly will go bad in the last book and die, but leafpool has to die too, because in each series the meddie cat ALWAYS dies,

and I think i remember reading that the 4th series will HAVE A DARKER TONE AND MORE VIOLENCE! (yes!) and i also heard that firestar will die in the first book! Bramble might to, so that lion/holly can become leader, hmmmmm

Ashfur still hates Squirrelflight, and there's a fire in TC forest. So Ashfur tries to kill the three, but Squirrelflight says it won't work cuz those ain't her kits. And Hollyleaf asks then who's kits R we, and Squirrelfllight won't tell. Plus, if Leafpool named Jayfeather, wouldn't she love her mate soo much that she'll name her son after him? Jayfeather. Crowfeather. plus, Jayfeather is dark black like Crowfeather, and Hollyleaf is black. Jayfeather could look more like Ashfoot, since that's Crowfeather's mother. So I can't wait for Sunrise!!

uh, jayfeather is gray.
...And one of the cats, be it the mother or father, has to have a black - or nearly black - pelt, because that is a dominant trait in cat fur color. So I think, at least, that Crowfeather or some other dark-pelted cat is involved in this.

THAT NOT TRUE! Cinderheart is super light, he's a really dark gray but not black.

ok, japfeather is a LIGHT GRAY, but not like cinderpely, more kindof like yellowfang, and if u are wondering where lionblaze's colors are coming from

because if u remember from science with the bunnies, a white and a black bunny have uh... bunnies, then all the babies r black, then the black bunny haz more babies with another bunny and there is a white bunny in there

my point is that colors or genics can skip a generation, u might even have something ur grandparents have that ur parents don't!

It is pretty obvious that Leafpool is the mother, kin of firestar's kin is leafpool, i can't believe that the three didn't even think of that! and why else would squirrel help another queen? Of course she would help HER SISTER plus since she had a mate it would make it MORE BELIEVABLE!

Yeah, but it could also be related to Cloudtail - who knows, he could have mated with a cat from another Clan or something. OK, never mind. that doesn't even SOUND like something Cloudtail would do. But it is still possible, no?

Hm, I agree with the theory that Leafpool is their mother, and Firestar doesn't die in the first book of the 4th series. He dies in the 4th book in the 4th series. In Long Shadows, I believe he lost a life, which gives him about 5 or 4 lives left.

I found out that they have a new Erin Hunter. Which means there are FOUR (4) Erinhunters. Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, Victoria Holmes, and Tui Sutherland. Victoria is the one responsible for the deaths of our fave kitties in the series....
