TigerRose awoke suddenly in the nursery, something had troubled her in her sleep. She had had a dream; It was dark, very dark. The only light that fell from the sky was the gloomy light from the slim cersant moon. The athmosphere of this forest was gloomy and evil, making her pelt stand on end. But she stepped forward, something was edging her on, she could feel that something was wrong. She was about to call out, when a scent caught her... LEAFKIT! Her paws kept moving, she kept running, but she couldn't get any closer to the scent. She saw her loved kit before seeing a dark figure with red eyes dart around him, and fading away. The last she saw was a small pair of blue eyes turning red, and fading, as she kept running. Her heart was pounding as she leapt high inot the sky and letting out a yowl. She woke up with a start, still yowling. leafkit... she thought, before nosing around her kits and the other kits she had adopted. He was gone.

Swiftleap was known to sleep as light as a feather, so when the queen woke up, he heard it. He was a new warrior, so he was at the edge of the warrior den. His eyes burst open, he at once, looked around for the noise he heard. His paw steps made no noise as they headed toward the nursery. He spotted Tigerrose, looking rather worried. "Whats wrong?" He asked.

Ivypaw was sleeping in the den when she heard an ear splitting yowl. She covered her ears with her paws. Shut-up you stupid bird!!! Ivypaw thought it was a bird while it was really a cat. As soon as she realized that she then thought it was an elder. She got some moss and headed for the elders den, but all of them were sleeping. Wha . . . ? Ivypaw thought, then saw Swiftleap dash to the nursery. Ivypaw dropped the moss and followed him. As she walked in she opened her mouth. ' What'ca doing Swiftleap? ' Ivypaw asked, not knowing what was so wrong.

TigerRose's eyes looked pained with worry and fear, as she jumped around herself, looking at anything that moved. 'My kit! My beautiful kit! He's gone! A hawk! fox! Leafkit! Leafkit where are you!?' She looked at Swiftleap and ran over to him, 'Have you seen him? Please say yes! You saw him right!?' She looked over to Ivypaw, who was wondering over looking bewieldered. 'Ivypaw!? Where is he!?'[/color] Her white and ginger tail fluffed up in panic as her eyes whipped around the clearing looking for him.

Ivypaw jumped back as thought of something to say. ' Uhhhhhh . . . Not here? ' She meowed, but knew it was the wrong thing to say. She looked at Swiftleap, as if her line was hidden under his eyes. She looked back at Tigerrose, but still couldn't think. She waited for Swiftleap to say something. Anything.

Swiftleap looked at Ivypaw, about to tell her 'I saw Tigernose looking like she just saw a ghost' but Tigernose spoke first. His slanted eyes widened. He knew Leafkit well. He liked to play with him often. In fact, Swiftleap liked to play with all the kits often. It was something he did in his spare time. It seemed apprentices and kits were his best friend, so when he heard that Leafkit was missing, his heart stopped. "Calm down Tigernose!" He said, trying to convince her and himself. He realized the tone was yelly and worried, and he corrected himself, "I'm sure he's fine. You know how kits are, always wanting to explore."

Without another word, he rushed outside. "Every listen up!" He yowled, feeling much like a deputy or leader rather than a regular new warrior, "Leafkit is missing! I want cats looking, especially if you have nothing better to do." He looked around for Morningstar, wanting to tell her of the news. Turning his head slightly behind him toward the nursery, he yelled, "Don't worry, we will find him.". Not finding Morningstar anywhere, he started looking himself. He sniffed around the nursery, searching for his scent.

TigerRose let out a mrrow of fear, she wasn't scared for herself, but for her kit. She wanted to run to the place where she scented him in her dream. But she had never seen this place before! Where was he? Suddenly she had an idea, she could ask Birdsong for help! But would she be OK with being woken up for a missing kit? She began to run to the medicine cat den, before she spun around and began to run towards her other kits. What could she do? She ,looked up at swiftleap, her green eyes glistening with fear and panic, But as she listened to him, she began to calm down a bit, he was right, he was the most inquisitive of all her kits. He could be fine... He heart was still pounding against her chest when SwiftLeap announced his disappearance, but her mind was beginning to clear. She briskly walked over to Swiftleap and asked him; 'Should I ask birdsong..? I dreamed he was somewhere! What should i do?'[/color]

"What is going on here?" Morningstar gasped, she could see the fear in tigerrose's eyes. "Are we being attacked? What is all the fuss about?" Morningstar asked.

'MORNINGSGTAR!' TigerRose bounded up to her, panic burning in her eyes; 'my kit! my beautiful kit! he's gone!'[/color]

"Ther there Sweetie, we will find him," Lillyeyes, a soon due queen, licked Tigerroses ear in attempt to comfort her. "Want me to go look for him? I'm sure he just wandered off."

"huh! Morningstar's eyes thinned to slits in fear. This kit cannot have just disappeared! Moonclan must of stolen him! I knew that we couldn't trust DAWNSTAR! "NO! Lillyeyes your dew any moment! I will send a patrol of warriors, but i dough we will find anything, MOONclan must of taken him! I knew we couldn't trust that cold-hearted DAWNSTAR!!!" Morningstar spoke her thoughts... " Actually we will lead a patrol into Moonclan territory, i KNOW that they must of taken him! we will leave TOMARROW! And I will take all my best warriors! If Dawnstar does NOT give back the kit. Then all I can promise, is death!" Morningstar turned and padded for her den, "And DON'T try to stop me, i will do WHAT EVER it takes to get Leafkit back."

OOC: It was scourge's plan to run the two clans into battle right? well if not he must be happy about this! You guys DO want a battle right? I certainly do!

Lillyeyes had kown the answer even before it flew from Morningstar's mouth. She licked her round belly.

His eyes widened. He opened his mouth to go 'where was he in your dream' but Morningstar showed up. He opened his mouth to explain, but again, was cut off by someone. He sighed with annoyance, angry he couldn't get a word in. He heard of Moonclan, and his fur bristled. That's where he mortal enemy was, Redstorm.

It was all set back to when he was an apprentice during a battle with Moonclan. Redstorm had struck down his mother. He kept prancing on that he didn't do it, but Swiftleap never believed him. It was dumb, and it was obvious that he did it. He nodded, agreeing with Morningstar, "And don't forget, she has that mousebrain Redstrom by her side to approve her plans." He growled. "I wish to join in the patrol. If anything happens, you know I have enough speed to run to camp and back to get help." He offered. Really, not only did he want to get back at Moonclan for stealing a kit, he wanted to get a mouthful of Redstorm's white fur.
