Dawncloud has been up for a little bit. She couldn't sleep she got up and head toward the exit of the den. The sun wasn't up yet, the sky was still a little dark with a hint of pink. She could see that no one was up yet. 'I will just walk around for a little bit.' She thought to herself. She walked to the dirtplace then after that her headed out of the camp. She carefully walked on a path toward her favorite tree. It was a random tree, when she was an apprentice she would climb this tree all the time. When ever she was near the tree she felt better. She jumped once trying to catch a low branch but fell.'It must have been awhile since i have climbed this tree.' She tried again but catch the low branch. she climbed up the tree till she could she out over the map and be-on the boarders She could feel the wind go through her fur, it felt so good to be by herself. She suddenly remembered her mother and father. She started to cry.

It has been a few hours and Dawncloud was still in the tree a sleep. She a woke to a patch of sun shining in her face. The sun was at sunhigh about. She carefully climbed down the tree. and headed toward the camp. 'Hopefully no one will notice that i have been gone.' she thought to herself.

Firepaw sniffed the air, scenting for any scent of clanmates. His member still hadn't given him anything to do, but he would use his free time well. Sunlight shone down on his ginger pelt, setting it ablaze like it was a flame. His purple eyes glimmered with youth. But just in case he wasn't supposed to leave...he would have to be careful.
The apprentice slowly crept out of the camp, when he smelled another cat. Without thinking, he dived into a large bush to his right, flattening to the ground. He peeked through the leaves. It was just Dawncloud, returning from who-knows-where. Puzzled, Firepaw followed the she-cat with his eyes. Come to think of it, he hadn't seen her in camp all day. A smile appeared on his face, and he slunk along with her, keeping in the bushes, waiting for the right moment to jump out and surprise her.

Dawncloud walked along a path toward the camp. She stopped to sniff the air. She could smell a cat. She turned behind her to see if a cat was follow in her but when she did turn no one was their. She started again toward the camp. Suddenly a mouse ran across her path into a clump of bushes. Without thinking she quickly pounced on it. She caught it and she quickly killed it and gulped it down. She heard some bushes moving across the path. She already had her breakfast so she left the bush and started again on the path toward the camp.

Firepaw let out a quiet sigh of relief, glad that Dawncloud hadn't discovered him in the bushes. Silently, he crept after the warrior again, trying to be more careful. Firepaw kept an eye on Dawncloud, making sure he was always 2 tail lengths away. The close he was, the bigger the chance of getting caught, but a better reaction as well.

Dawncloud kepted on walking toward the camp. She is about 7 tail lengths from the clearing of the camp. She could see some cats waking up. So she kept on walking.
