Brackenclaw and Rockleafe had just finished giggling when Firepaw came up.Brackencla touched noses with his apprentice, then turned back to Rockleafe.
"I've got to go."he murmured so that only Rockleafe could hear.Then looked at Firepaw.
"I'm sorry , but fighting will have to wait."he meowed"I'm going to take you on a patrol with Rockleafe and Sleetpads to patrol the border and maybe hunt."
A sly smile spread across his face, he was going to be the best mentor ever.Rockleafe had already begun to pad over to Sleetpads and Dawncloud.Brackenclaw watched her go, she is so cute he thought and it showed in his eyes If ONLY I could tell her how I felt
Rockleafe padded slowly over to Sleetpads and Dawncloud, se didnt want to part from sitting next to Brackenclaw so soon.She wished she could sit next to him for ever.Just staring out to nothing and thinking of each other.Why was it so difficult to tell him?She had almost bumped into Sleetpads thinking of him.She wonder, could anyone see it in her eyes?She sighed.
