Hawkfrost had never met Tigerstar in real life. Sasha was his mother. Mothwing was his sister, and after a while, Sasha left RiverClan , and left her kits there too.

Hawkfrost wanted power. He wanted to be trusted. SO he made the sign, but tearing off a moth's wing. The cats must trust him if his sister is a medicine cat! So she became Mudfur's apprentice, and Hawkfrost became deppy soon after Mistyfoot was captured. When Mistyfoot came back, he was inflamed. And he still wanted power. Once the cats got their new home, and Brambleclaw was deupy, he set a trap for Firestar. But as soon as Brambleclaw stabbed him, the tables were turned.
