Dawnstar padded out of the small hole to her den. She stepped onto the smooth surface of the Moon Rock. The ledge had a thin layer of snow on it, and Dawnstar brushed some away so she could sit. ' Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Moon Rock for a clan meeting. ' Dawnstar's yowl rang throughout the clearing. The moon and the stars made the Moon Rock glow, and Dawnstar was like a star next to the moon.

~Nightpaw sat near the back of the clan. She sighed. She guessed that there was something important gong on with another clan. A war perhaps? Her ears were flat against her head. Probably Spiderpaw, the friendly young tom was going to get a mentor.~

~Spiderpaw sat quietly. He wondered what was going on. He tilted his head to the side and looked up at Dawnstar with bright eyes. He wanted to be just like Dawnstar when he was older. That was his dream. Dawnstar was his hero. There had been some cats who had made fn of him, becuase their heroes were all hardened warrior toms. It didn't matter to Spiderpaw that his hero was not the same gender as he was.~

Dawnstar sat on the stone, and watched her clan gather. ' As you may know, our apprentice, Nightpaw , has no mentor. ' Dawnstar said, and her tail flicked a little.

~Nightpaw's eyes grew wide. Dawnstar had noticed her? Her ears were flat against her head in embarassment. And worry. What would her parents do? Uh-oh. Their plan had been to forget her. Now, how could they do that, with her being warrior? Would her father risk blood on his paws? She didn't think so. ~

mistywater padded in from outside shaking snow from her pelt then padded over to her apprentice well soon to be her meddie cat "Well i think your meddie cat name will be coming soon" mistywater whispered what if i don't know what to say what will happen i shall take to dwanstar mistywater thought mistywater dreamed as her leader spoke and small dark brown cat with gray speks and a few others padded up to moon rock and this kits like cat mouth opened as well as the others as they got ther apprentice name mistywater shook her head as her leader spoke "As you may know, our apprentice, Nightpaw , has no mentor" and she nodded

Dawnstar watched as Mistywater whispered to her apprentice. Won't be her apprentice for long.

[/color] Dawnstar looked up at the moon. Then she looked back down at Nightpaw. ' Nightpaw, you will be trained by Silverclaw. Silverclaw, I hope you pass all you know onto this young apprentice. ' Dawnstar said, and waited for Silverclaw to come out of th crowd and touch his new apprentice's muzzle. [/size][/center]

~Nightpaw gasped. Her parents had tried to forget her, but it looked like Dawnstar hadn't! She quickly stood up, and moved forward, to touch noses with her mentor. She was amazed.~
