ravenclaw limped to the medicine cats den. a thorn had pierced his pad and he couldnt get it out. he sniffed near the rock to check if the medicine cat was inside.

A loud purr came from within the den; 'Come in, RavenClaw!' called CinnamonPelt before coming to greet him at the den entrance. 'What can i do for you?' Her gentle blue eyes shone form within the shadowed den, and the sweet and sickly smells of all the herbs wafted towards RavenClaw.

he quickly stood tall and dipped his head to the medicine cat. " i caught a mouse in some thorn bushes, it has pierced my pad." he flipped over his paw so that cinnamonpelt could see. he stood still has she looked at the wound.

CinnamonPelt let out a short purr of amusement; 'Honestly. You warriors...' Her tail quivered as she jokingly shook her head, before coming close to examine his paw. 'It's not too bad, you're lucky, its not very big. Now,' She looked up at him with a sparkle in her blue eyes. 'This may hurt a bit, but I'll give you something to ease the pain afterwards.' she grasped the thorn in her jaws and gave it a quick tug. The thorn came out easily, and a small droplet of blood rose to his paw to start to heal it. 'Thats good' She purred 'Does it hurt now? let me fetch some horsetail, wait here.'

ravenclaw purred at the medicine cats kindness.
" im a warrior cinnamonpelt, i can take the pain." he licked his paw clean, drops of blood were flicked onto the grass. he peered into the den and saw the pretty medicine cat walking towards him with some horsetail in her mouth.

CinnamonPelt purred, 'I know Ravenclaw, but you don't have to be embarrassed of pain in front of a medicine cat!' she joked before dropping the leaves on the ground and chewing them up. When they were grounded into a pulp, she licked the gooey liquid into the pad. 'There, that will stop any infections and will clean the wound. Now, don't go getting it dirty, it should be fine, but if you have any problems, come back, ok?' She turned and padded towards the back of her den and fussed around with her herbs.

he put his cut paw back onto the ground putting his weight on the other paw. he dipped his head to the medicine cat. "thankyou cinnamonpelt, i dont know what the clan would do without you." he turned around and walked towards the leaders den. he would ask if he could mentor an apprentice.
