Post deleting

The problem is, I don't know who is doing it. I talked to Rockleafe and she said she has gotten the same thing. Its rather a hacker who knows how to do it or a stuff member with a grudge. I dout it'd be computers cause it'd be unlikley if BOTH Rockleafe and I's computer have the same virus or error that makes it do that.

So yeah, if anyone else has that problem, tell meh please!

Actually, I have deleted some posts but I've put a notice saying that I did so, and we have been having problems with what appears to be hackers.

Morningstar checked on that thing that you PMmed me about, and there was nothing saying that anyone had changed my profile besides you - so I think we do] have someone hacking in and...*avoids saying bad word* messing with the site.

Thanks for reporting, though - I was going to go to the Proboards site and ask them about it at some point.

Okay, I'm getting the deletions too, and until just recently they didn't bother me.I thought it was computer being slow and stuff.However when my role plays are getting deleted, I get mad!!! A post I put in the Jazmyn needs a friend or such , was deleted. I became furious.
I'm not happy. Do you want me to pm all the members and see if anyone his experiencing the same thing or knows anything?

I don't think that's really necessary - we know that someone has been doing something because of you two - and I definitely wouldn't delete a RP post! I'm going to email Morningstar right now about this! She might know someone who would be messing with the site.

Still problems with the hacking?
It's probably a port or something. you can do an IP check and check the activity of it, unless this 'Hacker' has hidden his/her IP.
It dosn't sound too bad... was it your own or other's posts that were being deleted?

You know guys, these things could have been moved to the OLD OOC board. Cuz u can move posts I think. But Ember, plz don't delete posts, unless they r stupid or me/Mosaic tell you to. I'm not getting mad, but it's important that we don't get our members mad.

wells. i have someone who could hack any site i asked them too xD its easy, really (well, for him) he has hacked myspace before and knows how to shut down the whole proboards server. maybe, if you are still having problems, i can ask him to help you out in some way? and as for tearing sites apart, thats easy! not that i have down that and ruined a site rep before and made the site die .... *innocent smile* want a cookie? *hands out cookies*
