Mysticpaw dashed through FrostClan camp, straight for Oceanstar's den. "Oceansta- oof!" she called, running into the wall of Oceanstar's den. She shook her head and got up, looking around the den for her leader. EarthClan scent still hung on her like a magnet, so hopefully nobody mistook her for an EarthClan cat.

Oceanstar hissed and lifted her head as EarthClan scent found her nose. She started to stand, but lay down again once she saw it was only Mysticpaw. Her gaze became stern, and the young leader gave the medicine cat apprentice a sharp look. "I can only guess why you've come to me again." the silver tabby said, her harsh voice covering her own feelings. Her sapphire blue eyes drifted across camp to the nursery, and she thought she could just pick out the white pelt of Angelpaw in a far corner. She held back a sad sigh and turned back to Mysticpaw. "Mysticpaw, you must decide where you're loyalties lie. I gave in to loves pull and let myself forget about my duties as leader. It breaks you, brings you to wonder whether you should even be in a respected position of your clan if your just going to betray them. Worst of all, you have to choose to leave your love, or leave your clan. You cannot have both and live happily. I chose my clan over my love, but will always have something running around FrostClan territory, reminding me of my mistake. I gave up my kits, but they're still there, making me feel so stupid..." Oceanstar trailed off, biting back tears. She could go on and on, but held herself back Mysticpaw had a choice to make, and she couldn't make it for her. |

Mysticpaw shook her head slightly. "Thats not why I'm here Oceanstar. I'm sorry I went back, but something went completely wrong while I was there. Finchpaw's mentor is..." Mysticpaw mewed, breaking off at the last part. "Dead." she mewed after a short period of time. "I haven't told him I can't see him yet. It's too hard for him already." she added, staring at the ground as she said it.
