Medicine cat meeting

"I have to tell you something after, and I think mapleleaf became Medicine Cat." Mysticpaw whispered to Poolpaw. She purred, happy to be with Poolpaw.

(poolpaw and Mysticpaw didn't see Mapleleaf.)

Cinnamonpelt purred and flicked her limping apprentice with her long tail, she was about to walk into mothermouth when she heard another cat's cry. Her head whipped around and she saw a strange cat. who could that be? she wondered, before she scented EarthClan... along with the familiar scents of herbs. Miricleweavers new apprentice? it couldn't be.. maybe she was the new med cat for Earthclan.

"Hello, err.." She realised she had no idea what this cat was called, "Will you be joining us tonight?" She queried.

Mapleleaf looked up at the FrostClan medicine cat. She knew it was FrostClan from the scent. She was here becuase she was the medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice. "Yeah, I'm the medicine cat from Earth Clan." She whispered going into the cave.

Poolpaw

Poolpaw slightly jumped when a brown cat slid past the two apprentices and into the cave. "What in the world?" she meowed a bit aggervated that the cat didn't wait for the rest of the cats. "When are we going in?" she asked Cinnamonpelt directly, but was somewhat asking her own mentor too.

"Now." Mysticpaw mewed, limping in after Mapleleaf.

Cinnamonpelt nodded in agreement with her Apprentice, Mysticpaw, she was so eager... Her eyes twinkled with pride, and she pulled back a grin so as not to look like a fool. A flick of her long tail was the signal for the apprentices to be quiet, once inside, only pawsteps should be heard.

She lead the way through the small and windy tunnel, only by doing this for so many moons did she know the way properly. She felt a bit sorry for the EarthClan medicine cat, she hadn't been here before, and had no mentor to show her the way.

Once inside she waited at the moonstone for mapleleaf, the stone on a night like this would be breathtaking for any cat, even herself. She stopped herself from purring at its beauty, before making a gesture with her muzzle towards the stone, and lay down with her nose touching the edge of it.

The maplle brown she-cat padded, head down, after the small apprentice and a long-tailed she-cat. She was unaware of the path to the Moonstone, she followed the scent of the other cats, and kept quiet.

When she ot to see the Moonstone, her jaw dropped in awe. She had never seen anything in her life that was such a site for sore eyes. and if youre talking about sore-eyes, Mapleleaf is the one who you'd look at. She was new at the medicine cat buisness and the clan. She had a mentor but it was moons ago, and all that knowladge is just coming back.

Mapleleaf found a nice spot by the stone and got compfy, then touch her nose to the cold rock...

Poolpaw

Poolpaw watched as Mysticpaw and Cinnamonpelt walked into the cave. It was so tempting to follow.. but she had to wait for her mentor. "Bluemoon! Hurry up! All the other cats are already at the Moonstone!!!" She took one last look at the medicine cat and padded into the cave, following all the other cats' scents. It was wrong to leave her there.. but Bluemoon should know better than to just hang there. She reached Moonstone and settled down neatly beside Mysticpaw. The silvery cat felt odd looks staring at her because she came in here alone. Poolpaw gave a silent prayer to StarClan. StarClan, please do not be mad at me for leaving Bluemoon out there....

Mysticpaw was already in the cave then Mepleleaf, Cinnamonpelt, and Poolpaw came in. She stared at the Moonstone, eyes wide. The large stone was shimmering like the light from the moon, almost glowing. Her paws seemed to drag her closer, sending pawsteps almost echoeing through the silent room. As her nose drew closed to the stone, she felt her veins flowing with excitement. As her nose touched the glowing stone, she closed her eyes, waiting for Poolpaw and Bluemoon to do the same.

Bluemoon shook her head. She had been drifting, but to where, she didn't know. She saw a young, brown kit running through the forest, seeming to be running from something. Noticing that she was alone, she silently cursed herself and ran off into the cave hoping to catch up to the others. Finally catching up, she was panting pretty hard. She walked along with her apprentice. It's almost time I give her her medicine cat name. she thought to herself.

Poolpaw

Poolpaw sighed with relief when her mentor came in, not seeming angry. As Bluemoon sat down beside her apprentice, Poolpaw nodded, telling her that she was ready to share tongues with StarClan. Slowly, she leaned forward and pressed her nose to the glowing stone. The cold rush that was always there came and instantly, Poolpaw's "real" body went limp. She swirled and twirled through the air until she was at Star Trees. She used her almond colored eyes to look around for StarClan cats. "Hello?" she called out, expecting Bluemoon to appear beside her soon.
