Whitestripe's pelt has a white bicolor that travels under his stomach. On his back, he has splotches of gray, that carry from his ears to around the mid-region o his back. This is where a white stripe cuts in that carries across his back, around to the other side. His hunches and tail are also the gray-blue color. His build is that of an average warrior that trains often. His fur is very long, and spring is not the most grand time to be around him. He sheds enough for the entire clan during the season.Personality:
Whitestripe is a very sarcastic and witty cat. He is always on his toes, waiting for the chance to fire back a facetious insult. His mouth is quick, and always ready to pounce on any cat that asks for it. He is very responsible, but also procrastinate and lazy. He gets done what he needs to get done, and nothing more or less, and usually a little late. But at certain times, such as spying or in battles and gatherings.History:
Whitestripes has lived a relatively normal life. Very few battles have taken place in his life, and it was something that has made an impression on him. His mother is still alive, along with his father, and siblings. During his apprenticeship, he was always known for doing everything fantastically, but never doing more than he was asked. If nobody told him to do anything, he wasn't doing it. But that was not to say that he didn't think for himself. He often deviated from any plans that might have been given to him, but luckily, they have all turned out for the better.RP Example:
Listening to the ceremony, he noted all of the apprentice that were being named. They were all cats that he knew were to be named apprentices, in fact, the whole clan knew it. Sometimes he wondered why they even had ceremonies. Every cat knew when their own ceremony was supposed to be held, and so did the rest of the clan, so why didn't the clan leader just walk up to the cat one day and say "Your an apprentice now" or "Your a warrior now, your name is blah blah blah." or better yet, just give them one name at birth and that was their name for the rest of their lives.Cats you RP: 1
But then it dawned on Whitestripe, the whole ceremonial thing was rather enjoyable, and its not always the fact of being a warrior, its being able to go through the ceremony, and every cat watching you be made a warrior, like a fifteen seconds of fame in the clan, where it didn't matter for the most part how mouse-brained of an apprentice you were, you were becoming a warrior, and thats all anyone knew, that, and how fantastic you just happened to look on that one day. And the whole name thing, it was a right of passage. Every kit looks forward to having their name changed to paw. And every apprentice dreams about their new name that will stay with them forever unless they are one of those chosen few to become leader. They all hope it will be just as magnificent as their mentors.
Whitestripe was suddenly ashamed that he had doubted the ceremonies ever, besides all of the pride they gave a cat, it was also StarClan's way of recognizing cats, both the growing ones, and those chosen to mentor them. "I've assigned Whitestripe to mentor Hazepaw"
'Stop! What?'
"I've assigned Whitestripe..."
Hold on. He had actually gotten an apprentice? What was going on? Was Mourningstar going mad? Every cat knew that he would screw up this cat. He looked around for a moment. A few faces had turned to look at him. He knew they were all accusing him of messing up the young cat before he had even spoken to him, they also were thinking that Mourningstar was also insane for giving him such a task. Just the thought of it was insane! He had only ever completed 3 successful assessments, and those were while he was an apprentice, the first- which was just to see what he knew, the second- which judged his fighting skills as an apprentice, and the third- his final assessment. This task was more than just an assessment, this cat was the future of ShadowClan.
Whitestripe decided that he should probably approach the cat, and lay out what his training was going to be like. This would be interesting, but at least he didn't have a she-cat. He didn't want to have anything to do with all of the emotions that one might have. They always seemed to be complaining about a tom doing some thing to them or another. Especially since, half of the time, it was himself that was messing with the females.
Before Whitestripe could have a chance to react and even find the tom, it seemed like he was on him lickity split! "Hb.. uh... Hmmmuuuhhh... Well...." he was lost for words! What was the matter with him! He needed to calm down and get his head straight. He licked his chest once to calm himself.
"Excuse me, you caught me off guard." The new apprentice was looking at him expectantly. He couldn't say no, but a nap would also be great. Plus, any cat that was strong enough to stay awake would be sent on a patrol, and Hazepaw was not ready for that, and there was no doubt that he would have to take care of this apprentice. So he answered the tom affirmatively, "Not now, maybe later, go rest up, and then when you wake up, you can join the rest of the camp in helping rebuild. We will get a short lesson in maybe," he emphasized short, and then winked at the cat. Whitestripe planned on using this cat to get him out of camp as much as possible.
