Oceanstar bounded through FrostClan's marshy territory, careful not to eave Angelpaw behind. She slowed near the river, at a spot where most cats strayed, as the marsh got deathly deep at places, and many cats fell through and were never seen again. She sat near a bush, where the ground was solid. "Angelpaw...If I tell you...You won't tell anyone, will you?" she meowed earnestly. At this moment, it wasn't mentor and apprentice. It was friend and friend. Oceanstar's trust was in the apprentice. She felt she had to tell someone. Had to have someone that understood. Had to have someone to go to, if something went wrong. All of this, Oceanstar trusted with the apprentice. She just had to be sure Angelpaw understood no one could know. |

She small cat nodded slowly. "The warrior I was with, you may not have known well. He was banished soon after you came, for having kits with MoonClan's medicine cat. But that wasn't what I truly thought. I was very close to him. We'd known each other since we were kits. I realized I couldn't bear to be without him, and so we started meeting in secret...I realized we were more then friends...I loved him, and he loved me. I knew it was wrong...but I kept meeting him. Last night, at the gathering, we agreed to meet at the river. I went across the river, where the two of us talked for a while...but then we fell asleep." she stopped, guilt flowing through her body. "Oh Angelpaw! What should I do? I can't stop meeting him...but what if it becomes more then just secret meetings?" she meowed, wondering if the apprentice might have any guidance. |

anglepaw sat her tail over her mentors back was she the mentor or what "oceanstar if anything happens with your meetings i will hurt anycat that will say anything about it" angelpaw said then her gaze turned to her feet " i have something my self to say" angelpaw said "I............. mated with a loner" angelpaw said hoping this was the right time to say it with every thing that was happening

Oceanstar nodded. The young apprentice was at her side, and that was good. As Angelpaw spoke her last words, Oceanstar's eyes grew wide. "At your age? You're only an apprentice! Y-" Oceanstar stopped. Where was she to scold Angelpaw, when she'd broken the warrior code herself. "Angelpaw...I know you'll keep my secret...but, can my secret keep its self? What if I have kits? I wouldn't be able to bear the shame of telling my clan how and why I had kits of my own..." she trailed off. It was good to spill her secrets out on someone.

angelpaw eyes grew "I'm almost positive that I'm pregnant, so if you have kits you can say you found them and I'll take them in" angelpaw said "yes i know that would be lieing but would you rather deal with nursing them your self or dealing with knowing that I'll take care of them" angelpaw said "and I'm not that you know I'm almost 11 moons" angelpaw said "now on to our training"

The river hummed next to them, a soft sound of water flowing over rocks. The ground beneath Oceanstar’s paws was wet, but solid. The gently sway of the leave son the bush was the only sign of a breeze. As the young leaders blue eyes drifted upward, she found only blue sky, fluffy white clouds, and the bright sun. Looking around, you would find long grass, cattails, and other plants that grow in marshy areas. Some of it, you could tell water was directly underneath, other parts, looked like solid land, but could lead to your death.
Oceanstar sighed contentedly as she watched a heron swoop down and land a little ways away. She carried her secrets alone no longer. As Angelpaw continued talking, her ears twitched to show she was listening, but for the first time in a while, she actually was happy. Not slipping around cautiously, always wondering if anyone knew. Her heart was still split in two, one half wanting to be loyal, the other, wanting to follow her heart. But it wasn't boiling up inside her, threatening to explode. "Thank you, Angelpaw. You know what? You act like a cat much older then you. And that is one of my favorite things about you." she purred softly, giving the young white apprentice a swift, friendly lick between her ears. "Now, lets get to the training." she mewed with a grin, and carefully padded her way to a clearing of solid ground, with a circle of large trees around it.
Oceanstar's silver pelt shone in the bright sunlight, the muscles in her small body clear. Her blue eyes were serious, but still held the hint of a deep friendship Oceanstar felt forming between the two. "Now, I'm sure Eagleheart and the other warriors and apprentices have helped you perfect your hunting skills. I do apologize, for not finding the time to take you out training much." she meowed, feeling a bit guilty. "Now, what do you know about fighting?" she asked the apprentice, figuring she ought to know what the apprentice knew before giving her a command.

angelpaw nodded when her mentor said 'Now, lets get to the training' then she began to speak " well.... i don't know very much, can i show you?" angelpaw said to her mentor

andglepaw crouched down and leaped at oceanstar and playfully batted at her belly she leap off of her then leaped at her again from behind "got you brackenstar you shall die" angelpaw mewed in oceanstars ear

Oceanstar grinned, playing along as Angelpaw attacked. It wasn't the fighting skills most apprentices had at her age, but it was pretty good. "Oh really, Angelpaw?" Oceanstar meowed slyly. She dropped to her belly and rolled, shaking Angelpaw off, then leaped and stood, paws planted in a box around Angelpaw. "You've gotta be careful on a cat's back, they can shake you off pretty easily if you don't have them under control" she explained, still standing over Angelpaw, and waiting to see if she'd make another move. |

angelpaw batted at her belly then slid out from under her and niped her tail then she ran around her very fast hoping she would get dizzy "your to fast you didn't let me do any_______" she stopped in dead sentence thinking about what to say

Oceanstar nodded. "Yeah, I suppose so. I'm also more experienced, and i haven't mentored an apprentice in a while. I need to stop using all my skills, or you'll just end up on the ground!" she replied with a grin, getting a bit dizzy as Angelpaw ran around her. |

anglepaw then leaped at her after oceanstar was dizzy she had knocked her on to the ground she pinned oceanstar on the ground and was threatening to bite her neck though she wouldn't "brackenstar how do you feel about being killed by an apprentice" anglepaw said sternly

The small cat huffed as Angelpaw tackled her and knocked the breath out of her. "Well, humiliated I suppose...And kinda let down that I was only leader for one whole moon before being removed from that position..." she meowed, holding back her laughter as she played along. Oh how fun it was playing the dumb leader. Not that Brackenstar was fun, she just liked playing him that way. |
