Adderpaw jumped down from the tree, a blackbird in her mouth. "Want thome Dedpaw?" She asked, speaking as clear as she could.

Redpaw looked at Adderpaw and smiled. "Not much, Adderpaw!" she looked around and sighed. IT was very peaceful.

Redkit
The little kit who had many siblings had snuck out from the nursery to watch the apprentices - Redpaw and Adderpaw. He saw Adderpaw swiftly kill a blackbird. He let out a small gasp of amazement and flexed his claws. I wanna be like that when I'm an apprentice! his mind shouted. Then he remembered that day he was out with Eaglepaw alone. Redkit himself had killed a young rabbit by giving it the well-known death bite. Or better that her, the tiger coated kit thought, daydreaming. He snapped back to reality when he heard a twig crunch from one of the two apprentices.

Adderpaw heard the twig snap. She spun to face the sound and started tasting the air. Her fur stood up, "Get out here!"

Finchpaw
The small tom padded confidently through the forest, tail swishing. He'd just had a minor battle session with his mentor, and he had done pretty well. Just then, the warm, milky scent of a kit reached his nose, jolting him out of thoughts. His blue-violet eyes glittered with curiosity. What's a kit doing out here? Quickly slipping through the undergrowth, he soon spotted Redkit, peering out from behind a bush.
Looking past her small body, Finchpaw noticed Redpaw and Adderpaw standing around a blackbird. He padded toward them, flicking Redkit's shoulder with his bushy tail as he passed. "What are you doing here?" he whispered. "You should get back to camp." With that, he bounded down toward his fellow apprentices.

"Huh?" Mysticpaw said, looking around. She finally saw two other apprentices and a kit, but one of the apprentices ran off. "Hi!" Mysticpaw said, walking over, careful not to cross the FrostClan border. She stopped on the border, waiting for a response.

Adderpaw ran back to see Redpaw and Finchpaw where she had caught the blackbird. "I smell Redkit. Is something wrong?"

She opened her mouth again to scent a Frostclan cat. "Frostclan! Redpaw! Finchpaw! A Frostclan cat is nearby!"

Mousekit
Mousekit followed Mysticpaw, she wasn't paying any attention to her surroundings so she just trekked along loudly. She would 'ooh' and 'ahh' in amazement of the forest. When she saw two other apprentices she shrank back. One of them noticed them.
Redpaw
Redpaw looked around for the FrostClan cat. When she saw them she let out a furious hiss. She bounded towards the apprentice and kit without taking a paw step past the border. "What are you doing here?!" Redpaw looked from the apprentice and kit then she hissed again.

"I was just wandering with Mousekit looking for Herbs." Mysticpaw said. "Im the Medicine Cat Apprentice of FrostClan." she said, her tail still flicking.

Mousekit just nodded in silent confusement and fear.
Redpaw
Redpaw lowered her eye, she wouldn't trust these cats even if they were best best friends. "I'm Redpaw, a new apprentice of EarthClan." She flicked her tail in pride. Redpaw looked at Mousekit and frowned. Why would this kit need to be shown herbs?She's is only alittle over 3 moons or so?"

The pale, cream-furred tom glanced at the other two, whiskers twitching. Why do they have to seem so hostile? he wondered. She's a kit, for StarClan's sake. "I'm Finchpaw," he explained. He sensed a question lurking in Redpaw, and he couldn't help but admit she was probably right. "Why does a kit need to learn about herbs? Kits are supposed to stay in camp, and you're still an apprentice."
