Oceanstar nodded her understanding, and just hoped she could keep it that way. Her heart always seemed to win the arguments with her mind that said what she didn't want to hear. "I know...but what am I to do, Cinnamonpelt? Someone's bound to notice sometime...and soon enough, I'll loose their respect. I won't be their leader, I'll just be the mousebrained leader that means nothing to them..." her voice trailed off as she thought back to every time she'd left the camp the last few moons. There were glares. Stares. Whispers she'd never noticed. They already doubted her. And she had been oblivious to it all. |
