it was an early morning and eagleheart wanted to go hunting "any one up for a hunting patrol" eagleheart called into the clearing

Hyenapaw shook out her calico fur, licking down a part that stuck up. Then she trotted over to EagleHeart. "I will." She offered.

"I wouldn't mind," he mewed, getting to his paws. The small black tom padded toward the deputy. I haven't gone out of camp in awhile, he mused. A hunting patrol was perfect. No cat would suspect him of anything, like they probably would if he went out on his own for some solo hunting. Just because I'm related to Scourge. Before it had always bothered him. The apprentice had always been rueful that no cat would ever trust him. But ever since he'd heard of Amakage, he'd had something to look forward to.

Hyenapaw looked to ScourgePaw, trying to understand what it would be like to be related to Scourge, and came up blank. Even though it was rogues who had killed her mother and father, she wouldn't shut out her Clan mate because of something that wasn't his fault.
